Seriously, quit flaming people in normals

I made the mistake of playing Kat for the first time in months in a normal game a bit ago (after playing a couple bot games), and my team bitches me out for not doing as well as they want me to

People who do this are irritating and dumb. It's normal. Not ranked. Normal games are for practice. I can't get good at playing against other real players by playing bots, because they're BOTS. I mean, what the fuck do you expect me to do? I already go 30-0 in bots, so that means I'm automatically pro with the champ I'm playing? You've got to be a special kind of stupid to think that. Bots are predictable and easy, their builds are pretty much already set in stone, and they don't use teamwork, at least not well at all. Decent players are nothing like that

Before I started playing ranked, I'd get pissed at people in normal games too. I wouldn't flame them, because that only makes them play worse, but I would tell them to stop doing the things they were doing because they clearly weren't working. But now I realize normal games don't matter. It's for practice, and dare I say "fun"? No, I WOULD say fun, but the players make it unfun by making it seem like that game is the most important thing in the world and you have to play perfectly in order for it to BE fun. It's ridiculous. I'm tired of people being toxic towards me and others in normal games, it makes no sense. Play ranked if you have a problem with it

So quit flaming people in normal games. They're "normal" for a reason

Edit: Just to elaborate, I'm NOT saying it's ok to flame people in ranked. It's never ok to flame someone. What I meant was that people in ranked are less tolerant to feeders, and it happens anyway. But ranked is what actually matters, not normal games, so I'm just saying it makes more sense that people get flamed for playing poorly in ranked, although I don't approve of it

I stand behind this. Which is why I upvote, and comment an upvote. It's like a second one, but extended.

I don't mind people not doing well in normals, what i hate is when people consistently feed. THAT'S annoying. Like, okay, you died a couple times. Learn to back off and play safe, farm at a distance, farm some jungle, and play catch up. Stop continuously trying to duel them thinking THIS will be the time you win after already giving them a huge lead.

That's all I hate, just give us a chance to win.

Downvoted for saying you shouldn't rage because it's not ranked You shouldn't rage at all And saying normals are for practice is kinda insulting for anyone who doesn't play ranked You are facing people all the same, and people want to win all the same, you shouldn't expect any difference between ranked and normals in human behaviour, they will (and should) react the same to a good player, and to a bad one, and to a troll, because when it comes down to it, the rewards or consequences at the end are pretty much the same And people should be free to experiment with the same conditions be it ranked or normal, meaning if you are gonna try let's say Ap Aatrox, then make sure the team you are playing with are cool with it, else experiment only with friends or in bots, because it's not cool to ruin someone elses game because you wanted to try something new, again, be it normal or ranked

But that's just my humble opinion

riot should remove the k/d/a in game and the w/l score after the game, that will make the flaming go away

Zhugan10/6/2015, 7:24:55 PM3 votes

You shouldn't rage in normals or ranked. You shouldn't feed in normals or ranked.

And stop saying stupid shit like "normal games don't matter". For some people that is the ONLY mode that they play. Maybe, MAYBE if it was normal draft that would be acceptable, but blind normals are a totally different beast.

HalcyonDweller10/6/2015, 8:57:03 PM3 votes

Or y'know, quit flaming people regardless of ranked or normals.

Some people do not play ranked, and normals is their epitome of gameplay, so it is not necessarily okay to say, "It's just normals." But you played some bots first, so I commend you.

Also, I'm sorry you got flamed OP, that sucks. I agree, people are obnoxious when they take the game too seriously.

LOL Spammer10/6/2015, 7:02:41 PM3 votes

How about just quitting flaming people all together?

Beacon 0F Light10/6/2015, 6:05:25 PM3 votes

Eh, I mostly agree, but you shouldn't flame even in ranked. Normals are not just "practice." For a lot of people, including me, ranked is not even worth our time, and norms are where we spend most of our time. Not everyone has to play ranked, I for one think it's a waste of time with all of the overly competitive players who use it as an excuse to flame their teammates.

It's a video game, even in ranked the #1 purpose is still entertainment.

Normal games are not for practice. You should always try to win, normal or ranked. You're toxic. Like seriously, I level 2 cheesed the enemy jungler one time and killed him at his blue. He proceeds to ask if why I was such a "tryhard" and if I was "so thirsty for a win". It was my first time trying it and I did it successfully. It doesn't make me a "tryhard"; if anything, I gambled with a strategy I was not familiar with because I didn't care as much. Even if it was "tryhard", I'm playing to win and utilizing good strats help with that - how is that a problem?

Yesterday a Kalista I played with got pissed off that I picked Bard even if though I just got him and wanted to play the musical God that is Bard. He kept flaming me and the other team and kept complaining about how bad I was for not staying with her (although I was going around helping the kind Ahri and helpful Yorick jungle) it made my fun experience of the extremely enjoyable bard less than it could have been

Tyren10/6/2015, 3:07:42 PM2 votes

Any time I'm playing jungle and our mid is a Kat, I know exactly which lane I'm going to pitch a tent in.

Oelyk10/6/2015, 3:10:04 PM2 votes

Agree with everything except bot teamwork. They are probably the most coordinated of every thing in league. except they are dumb, so they only hit whats in front of them, so don't stand infront of them please, its suicide.

normals are a waste of time

"seriously, quit trolling people in normals"

I fixed it for you. Everyone plays normals blind pick for easy practice and fun, but trolling still makes even that impossible. Dont troll and you wont get flamed

Ok I'm pretty good at Katarina and on another one of my accounts I have a 17-3 rating with her. The thing with Katarina is all about knowing her combo. Q - E - W - R and when to use it. Now I understand you're wanting to learn in normal games and people shouldn't flame you - that makes sense. When people tell you though to go into Bot games and practice, they are most likely referring to go into bot games and learn your bloody combo. If you don't know how to combo 1 champion, you aren't useful to your team and therefore shouldn't be playing in normals. Some people play normal to practice champions - yes understand, but most people who practice those champions aren't first timers who just continually feed and waste 20mins of 4 others people life because they refused to go learn how to do a basic combo with that champion.

TL:DR - You're just as annoying wasting 20mins of someone's life or in that case 20mins of 4 people's life because you wanted to play with real human before learning your basic combo on a champion that depends on that single combo. Go play bots learn the combo then comeback to normals

So true. Like normals is a place to play really stupid stuff or things you're learning. I love playing assassin jg champs in normals and I'd never do it in ranked bc I'm not good enough w/ them to do well at my elo. My normals mmr was stupid low compared to my ranked mmr when I started playing them again so I haven't had a lot of rage at me, but I'm sure if I keep winning it'll show up.

Normal games are** not for practice**, Practice is BOTS I understand if your team is bitching at you for not doing that well but it doesn't mean you should go in the match and not give a shit. Not everyone plays ranked, some people like the excitement of blind pink normals were you see a wider variety of champion pics rather than the winning formula + it's a surprise so it's a legit game mode not just some pile of shit for not being rank. Take your usual precaution playing normals because people are setting time to play the game and trying to enjoy it too. If you feed a lb mid and she's just roaming killing everyone it'll be no fun and it's disheartening so just stay back try to roam or tower farm. Don't be like you don't care and keep on feeding.

Adidas Elite10/7/2015, 6:59:51 PM1 votes

If you have a problem with people. Then mute them its why its there. If I am trying to warm up for ranked in a game of normals and casually tell you hey try playing a little more passive. and you then go 0/6 in the next ten minutes. I am probably going to state in all chat to report you because I don't queue up to be beaten down. When I am warming up. If you are learning the champion play defensively. Don't be some hero the first time you play. Play defensive you learn more. Like when to strike and when trades will be favorable. Just my opinion.

TheStevenWu10/12/2015, 4:32:41 PM1 votes

I don't care about losing if the loss was a legitimate loss. Since it's only a game, losing isn't going to kill me, and I have gained enjoyment from giving my all in the game with my teammates regardless.

What I don't enjoy is losing because someone has the attitude, "it's only a normal so I don't have to try". Since you don't seem to understand this point as I've repeated it over and over again, here are some examples:

  1. We're down 4k gold at 20 minutes but have better late game scaling. Instead of trying to turn it around, my teammate decides to "surrender or tilt", "because it's just normals"

  2. When someone loses lane hard and decides he's just going to afk "because it's normals" despite every other lane winning.

  3. Let's solo queue drunk/high league and feed "because it's just normals"

  4. Let's practice afk farming and not help team at all "because it's just normals"

  5. My kid cousin who has never played League before is over. I'm going to let him take over for half the game to introduce him to the game because he's curious. I know he's going to do nothing and feed, but that's okay "because it's just normals"

  6. My friend is curious about League and never played before. Here, play on my level 30 account despite not knowing how to play at all. It's okay if you do bad your first time and lose "because it's just normals".

I mean... get it now? If you want to practice in normal, by all means go practice. But it should be, "i'm trying to win with this new champion/strategy". It should not be, "i just want to play this new champion; I don't care if I feed because it's just normals".

I feel it. last game i went 15/4/9 as diana jg but i was told to be aborted called retarded ect because i didnt gank untill i was 6. Let me learn how to play the fucking champ in the jg, giving me helpful advice is welcome but basically telling me to die ect is ridiculous.

Downvoted because you specified "in normals".
