Rek'Sai Carry?

So, I've found myself in an interesting position my last few games with Rek'Sai. I've ended all of them with a high KDA, but my team one way or another has fallen short everytime. Rek'Sai's strength is her map control and ability to push objectives and keep the enemy team on their toes. The problem I find is in lower elo's I'm fed and pushing objectives, while my underfed teammates foolishly engage in team fights they can't win. I assume that most of this could be chalked up to low Elo players making bad plays, but I feel that I should be focusing more on feeding my team with Rek'Sai given her strengths. I play her more like Vi or Kha'Zix and try to hard carry, and I'm not sure that's the way she's built. Any ideas?
