Lissandra vs Syndra

How do I beat Syndra as Lissandra? She outranges me and even though all her skills (except her Ult) are skill shots, they are very easy to land compared to mine (that's not to say mine are hard to land). If she lands a stun combo then Ults, I can't ult in time to stop her ult from killing me. Even if I do, she will kill me with her Q. I've no idea what to do anymore in this matchup. Unless I outskill the player by a lot, I will lose this matchup.

I'm relatively good at dodging skill shots but with syndra it's a little harder to win the fight. I'm thinking it might be because I don't all in her hard enough in trades. That is, I should be able to win the trade/ fight easily if I can make her miss her stun combo once. Unfortunately, this matchup doesn't come up enough for me to get experience in it though.

if anyone has any advice for me, I'd appreciate it.

Lissandra excels at team fights and kiting melee champs, mages like Syndra are extremely challenging for. If you find yourself against mages like that, I'd recommend rushing Zhonya's.

Syndra might be a counter for Lissandra. I would just recommend avoiding this match up. I've never played Lissandra so I can't give any tips, sorry... :/

dont try to duel her. dont build to duel her. dont build so you can take her damage. build against other enemy teammembers, especially to assassinate either their adc or to kite and duel their toplaner/jungler. waveclear and roam. dont waste your time with her.

Thanks everyone for the reply. I've considered all that you've suggested before. I suppose I should try them out rather than my usual aggressive lane control play.
