Short story long:
There's been plenty of attempts at a coaching service in League, some more successful than others. What I'm trying here is a simple jab at it that I hope to be able to make into a regular Board event (monthly maybe?) and maybe see where to go from there.
In its current form (aha...ha....ok I'm done) this is a simple google form outputting to a spreadsheet that I'll manually sort through (because I'm a programming nub) and lacks:
- Account/Rank verification
- Automated matching
- Independent server/hosting
- Many other smaller things, like a good background
If I get enough responses I'll take a crack at matching you with someone if you are curious on who you'd end up with. But keep in mind this is a test. I wanted to see how many people are interested in this sort of thing as well things like coach/student ratio, redundant metrics, feasibility, making sure the form is waterproofed, etc etc. Right now my main priority is making sure I'm asking the right questions and getting a working (albeit basic as hell) system out and running for everyone to use.
