Jarvan IV top?
What would I have to build in order to do decent top lane? I'm learning jungle through Youtube. So give a item by item tip/advice. Thanks and I appreciate the nice comments.

Hydra and tank is really all you need, though you can build more damage (Trinity Force) if your jungler is tanky as well.
If against an AD based champ, start with sunfire cape. If against an AP based champ, then either banshee or spirit visage. If you are beating them early, you can go hydra or brutalizer first instead.
Top Jarvan ALWAYS starts The Brutalizer. Then builds tank items and finished up his Black Cleaver. With high base damages all you need is the armor shred and your passive to destroy anyone. Hexdrinker right after Brutalizer if against AP champ of course.
I think J4 is a really bad top laner. His early game is good, but there are better lane bullies. J4 can only go all in, and unlike Renekton, he can't back out too easily. He has no sustain, and idk about his mana issues but I'm assuming they are a problem. I feel like if J4 doesn't snowball, he falls off very hard compared to most top laners.
