Having issues with using Tryndamere

Peel Your ADC··1 votes·809 views

Lately, I've noticed that as I inch my way through Gold 1 (very slowly :D) that I cannot play Tryndamere easily anymore.

I remember the good ol days where you pick trynd with a team that has either siege potential or anti-diving mechanics so they can both pressure the map at their discretion and just collect towers. But lately, I've had teams that not only have no clue how to function as their champions sometimes, but even lose in advantageous situations, such as standing at a tier 1 tower throwing spells at three opponents while the other two chase me across a lane and use either summoners or an ulti to close the gap.

As I wistfully look toward how quick my team gets the mid lane tower, I am disappointed as I see them getting picked off one by one in a tower dive with the tower at full hp, despite them being at it for about two entire minutes. And as their follies along with mine catch up, I find myself unable to exert any pressure on the map that warrants more than just their top laner and a Thresh running at me. Perhaps I'm just doing something wrong. I might just be not farming hard enough to get items that assert my presence.

Or maybe I have no clue how to play Tryndamere anymore. Hard to say. Thoughts?

clearly you must not have slapped everyone with your big sword to establish dominance before you went off split pushing Wanna be a real fking threat? kick their top laner and thresh's ass.. their teams gonna be like o shit, that tryndamere exhert dominance once again when someone tries to stop you... but only do this once kay, they will definitely send reinforcements if you try that shit a 2nd time split pushing champs are a really selfish breed, gotta say cuz this requires that your entire team has to play in a certain way to compliments your split pushing otherwise they will lose the 4 v 5

are we talking about split pushing tryn? ;l

Well since I'm in a realm where people don't know what to do when grouped, yeah it's splitpush Trynd. However, they start doing sneaky shenanigans like sending their support top at level 4 and burning their flash, CC, exhaust and entire kit to make me dead.

And in bot lane? Both my laners are half health to a Vayne as Caitlyn and Nami. And then things escalate badly.

I've not heard of support ganks at lvl4.... not that ur early game matters, you're the late game threat

and vayne is scary! havent you seen Faker Vayne zone out a fking Jayce???

Vayne at level 4 in a 1v2 lane where she's outranged and outpoked isn't the epitome of scary to me. However it gets scary when she starts winning in said scenario.

Well you see, Tryndamere's counter items are like a Thornmail, providing armor and counter-damage. Even if this is the case, you want Attack Speed as you can build up your rage bar and induce critical hits on your enemy. An item such as item 3087 early game along with item 3144 is already great enough.

If your enemy is REALLY into armor, literally, on your third item, build Last Whisper. Improvise to your enemies build, learn the items in game and find the counters to them.

I've never REALLY confirmed this but if an enemy team buys a Frozen heart and you use Attack Speed, just get more attack speed, there are no items in the game that just negates Frozen Heart's effect.

I've found Shiv into either IE (for the bold who don't understand they'll lose) or Yomuus (for maximum cheese) is a good starting point. Simply acquire money and proceed to buy items without any fucks given.

However, the item build isn't the struggle, its the execution that's problematic.

As much as I like having to 1v2 upon reaching a tower and getting little from it, I feel discouraged when I see the rest of my allies losing a 4v3 somewhere else. That's my major problem in games nowadays.

Well you can't expect people in Solo Queue to have a high skill level and its "typical" to feel discouraged about your team losing to 3 people against 4.

Really, it should be up to you to backdoor, going top lane or bottom lane, even if thresh or blitzcrank runs to you. If that doesn't work, ask for your support to come and assist you, equalizing the difficulty between you and your enemy top laner + their support.

If my support and ADC don't have the ability to get a tower in a 1v2 for 5 minutes, how do you expect them to do something that's helpful?

I am talking nearly handicapped in basic comprehension about doing any pressure on the map and asking them to help me? That was a waste of effort and pings.

For gold 1 your enemies have a basic understanding of the fundamentals of league of legends and the skill capacity they have. what your team does not do that a platinum team does is process said fundamentals into their minds on a 24/7 basis. for example

-team will 4v5 accidently -team will back after teamfight -refuse to ward even after they die , blame it on jungle ( this is me lol)

with this, you cannot splitpush unless your team understands the very fundamentals and are processing THOSE 24/7 -i need to match up my team's push with my own push -the point of this is to force 2 top/bot so they can 3v4 -we need towers, not kills

because you are in the middle elo, people often teeter totter over this and that's why splitpush is very difficult to perform unless you are controlling your team. it's been clearly stated it seems as though you feel more superior to your team in regards to strategic advances. that's fine, it probably is also true. what you CANNOT do is rush top and push with 1v4 and expect automatically for your team to jump into action and baron while you lead them around. you need to go over with your team this is what imma do u gun do this guys ok? swet.

remind them multiple times in game , i'm pushing ,line it up with me i'm going to try teamfighting, if it doesnt work im splitting

if they have a dive comp and you're splitpushing, you are losing yourself the game. group and assassinate main divers

TEAM OF: Vayne Leona Kha Zix Jax Jarvan

your job is to kill kha zix ASAP before he can get his leap out after leo's suncancer engage. your job switches to vayne if you fail or succeed.

Sometimes its just weird things like taking Ezreal and Ahri vs Draven with J4 as the friendly jungler. Poking where his axes are and then diving him at half HP seems like a given, but apparently, Sion is enough to make draven not only survive, but prevent others from poking and setting up slow-ass Qs for draven to collect money upon.

Even if its something I'm not doing right, I need to be able to 1v3 no matter how hard it would be. Now where do I start?

the first step is knowing your enemy rotations and abilities

in a 1v3 scenario, you must single out who is the most squishiest or most dangerous / who can you benefit the most out of smacking around

examples of hard champions to kill that require a bit of thinking for Ezreal you need to wait until he e's for Ahri wait until she charms, she will have to blow ult to get away from you , if she doesnt have ult she is dead. for Jax wait until his E wears off

decide which champion is the most valuable to the enemy team -> Soraka item 3301 Vayne item 3153 Pantheon item 1039 in this case it would be nice to kill any of them. -> and proceed to do your best to kill said champion. if i know i'm fked i go straight dive bomb on to the easiest kills, most of the time i can trade even or 1 for 2. don't dive bomb like a retard. wait for major cc's to miss or make sure you can dodge them wait for blinds to come into play wait for exhaust to wear off

TL;DR 1v3 just makes you follow logic wait for cc kill most squishy or accessible/most important

I think you misunderstood what's happening.

I pressure a lane to get three enemies to burn everything they've got on me as I attempt to get that tower since fighting them just gets me kited and cc'd for 5 seconds longer. Then in the midst of them having to go through all the effort, my allies still lose map pressure and there's nothing I can do to fix it.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

thats just an unwinnable game you can't win many games as split push trynd because you require alot of teamwork or just tryn in general unless you can 1 shot everyone.
