All too often people make uninformed choices in solo queue that end up costing them the game. Using some basic decision theory, I explain how to improve your in-game decisions.

Horuzar1 votesI read this and the only tidbit of 'help' that was given was for the reader to watch replays and practice decision making there. Aren't there other ways?
MEMEME6701 votesPractice, (e.g. Watch someone's stream/replay and think about if their play is wrong//right (will work vs won't work), then compare to results.) is okay, but ingame experience, watching your own replays, and talking with people who are better than you that you trust are the best ways.
Tebryn1 votesI have to say for me it had one other important information. "it's sometimes better to make a less than perfect decision quickly than it is to make a good one slowly." You might think yeah do stuff fast is always better then doing it slow but that speed > thinking long about it, is for me a important statement and it make sense. If you always think long about your decision you will often slowly fall behind over the course of the game because you spend much time evaluating then actually doing stuff. In addition you get the feeling faster on what you should do if you actually try things out.
SummonerSquid1 votesWell I mention replays because you can take the speed component out of the picture and practice just going through the process.
I personally find it helpful to break things down into smaller goals when trying to improve something as vague as "decision making". It's easier to consider each of the steps rather than just tell yourself "I will make better decisions".
Fair enough though, it's more of a conceptual mapping than it is a readily applicable set of keystrokes.
