How do I build Lulu

I recently started playing this champion and one thing I've noticed, you can literally build anything on her. Like once I get to this stage item 1326/item 1311 item 2045 item 3092 item 3364 I have no idea what to go into. I usually just build what seems right at the moment and so far my builds have varied from: item 1326 item 2045 item 3092 item 3100 item 3165 item 3151 item 3364 This one looks like this because we had no magic damage so I tried to fill for that, it kind of worked out actually. item 1311 item 2045 item 3092 item 3285 item 3135 item 3050 item 3364 Honestly had no idea what I was doing here. item 1326 item 2045 item 3092 item 3151 item 3143 item 3001 item 3364 This one was kind of experimental, I noticed that her HP pool is really what brings her down. Like she can kite well and potentially kill someone in sustained fights, but 1800 HP at level 18 is only going to do so much. Something else to note, I didn't get to finish the builds most of the time because the game usually ended, but this is generally what I had in mind for each situation as an endgame. Also, the way they are listed aren't necessarily the order I built them. So yeah, aside from these abominations. Some tips on how to build her would be really great.

No problem. In my opinion, I think you should be building LuLu into a more utility type support but start the early game aggressively and pokey. She is really great at early game poking and helping her ADC get fed early. I say this based on my play style, and it is up to you on how you want to play your supports. ^_^

As mid lane lulu you want straight ap items Sorcers shoes, athenes , ludens, death cap, void, etc . Hp isn't a problem bc your ult and sheilds are really good

As support mobility a boots are good and a sight stone with a frost queens is fine. After that build either zekes, locket, mikaels, or frozen depending on their team, don't build hp or straight ap bc if they focus you then you will win the fight

If you go to some Champion build websites such as Mobafire.com or LOLking.com, you can get some very in-depth guides on how to build her as any role... ADC, Support, Mid, and Top.

Also as a personal note, I do not build my Frostfang item 3098 into a Frost Queen's item 3092 ... Instead, I sell the Frostfang in the mid game (after about lvl 9 - 11ish). I instead build a Crystal Scepter because all of my offensive abilities will pick up a slow.

Here is a link to a post I made a few days ago about supports. I think LuLu would fit into multiple categories of a support (depending on how she is built).

"Yup, that tasted purple" - LuLu

A lot of times you need to learn yourself on why some items should be built or not. I always judge my builds off of what my team needs. If we have no tank, I may build more tanky so that I do not die as fast. If they need Magic resist from a fed enemy midlaner, then I will build item 3190 . . . I suggest going into a custom game, and taking 20-30 minutes just reading the items so that you are aware on what each one does. From here, you can practice the useage of the item(s). Hope my mini guide helps you a little though.
