Nidalee or Mordekaiser: Who's better to have at the moment?

I need some help deciding who to buy in a little bit, because I have no idea who's better right now, since I know Riot is always nerfing and buffing champions, but I can't keep track of it

I've played Mordekaiser a few times when he was free, and I loved him. I did pretty good with him and he was also fun to play

I also played Nidalee a lot when she was free last week and DESTROYED with her, and she is also extremely fun

So who should I buy now? Is Mordekaiser still as good as he used to be, or did they nerf the shit outta him?

Nidalee is a better ap mid, better jg, maybe not better at top, support is ok and adc isnt a thing. Shes overall better imo

Might just save up for her then. But idk, I've had a dying need to play Mordekaiser for a while, I'm not sure why

If you wanted to get freelo in ranked games, I'd suggest going with Morde. Super easy to carry yourself to gold with Mordekaiser due to his unique mechanics.

Depends on what you want. Do you want a strong early game? do you want range? Do you like to brawl/be in the front line/get into skirmishes?

If you have a close range play style, like to brawl, go Morde.

If you like ranged poke, and being an assassin along side a high skill cap? go mid.

My playstlyle is with simple champs that can brawl, so I am a clear bias for choosing Morde. Hope this helps! <3

Definitely not Morde, he just got "compensated" recently and hasn't recovered since.

Unless you're a really big fan of him, otherwise I don't really recommend playing him now.

It's not even close, Morde is like top 5 useless champions right now and Nidalee is one of the best junglers. Meta changes quickly but rn that's just how it is.

Nothing says "useless" like consistently having some of the highest win rates in tpp and mid lane.

Mord is fine. He hard counters snowbally assassin champions and brings a lot of damage to a team. His main problem is that he provides exactly zero utility, so he needs a solid team around him to make up for those weaknesses.

Nidalee is better in that she's more versatile. She is a great jungler, an okay mid or top (not as good as Mord though), and can be played support if you hate your ADC (I'm not a fan of Nid support). She also brings a lot of mobility and assassination potential that Mord lacks.

So, whichever one you'd prefer.

His main problem is he has 0 soft or hard cc, and 0 escape. Either mid or top, a good jungler will make him pay for the simple fact that the summoner picked Morde. She's not a great laner atm, bu she's better than him regardless. If you're focusing on low elo where junglers can't gank and people can't abuse things like a lack of escape/cc, then sure. But Morde will likely never see top play until his kit changes to work around the lack of both movement and cc.
