Playing early/mid game ADCs

I used to play a lot of Corki but always had trouble closing the games out, aaaaand the enemy ADC will always catch up or outscale me. How can I play them efficiently? I always win lane but lose game. How can I use Corki (and other early/mid ADCs) with their full potential? I feel like many times when I play lane bullies I can't "carry" hard enough. But when I play late game champions, I get shut down completely in lane, or hard carry the game. I main Ezreal and Sivir, but with the Graves Jinx meta, unfortunately I get shit on completely in lane. Most of the time.

judging by that picture, i assume you cry alot. i suggest picking jungle up, and maining Amumu. so that your tears will kill the enemy champions. Amumu item 3070 item 3151

Play Draven, if you are good, you won't be outscaled. Corki doesn't scale well compared to other carries.

Most ADC have something besides damage they can contribute to the team.

In Ezreal and Corki's case, your poke and slipperiness are great in a siege situation - get someone low, they have to back away from their turret or risk being killed, then your team gets a turret or at least some serious damage down. Remember, the more turrets you take, the more map control you have, and the more likely it is your team will catch someone out of position (plus Dragon/Baron becomes safer). Both also have great magic damage AoE and really good escapes - excellent tools in a hectic teamfight.

For Sivir, your strength is your waveclear and your ultimate. Your range isn't really suited to sieging, so you'd much rather start teamfights or pick people off with the rest of your team with you. It's really difficult to win a teamfight against a Sivir who is laying down tons of AoE - especially if her team got the jump on you. The main thing is to make sure your team knows when you're going to ult - a few well-placed pings should do the trick.
