Hey everyone! I have over 2k RP and I need help deciding what to do with it all. I was thinking about getting Lissandra and maybe even more but I need to know who is really good top lane right now and if they're getting better possibly. Any advice?
I have Irelia and I don't really care for Gnar that much honestly
Lissandra isn't fun imo or very good. Also, I'd never spend RP on a champion, unless you desperately want them. If I were you i'd hold onto it until something comes out that you think "Yes, thats definitely worth $20", then go ahead and buy that. If you think Liss is worth $10, then go ahead and buy her. If you dont/can't add RP often, keep in mind that Worlds and Harrowing are both coming up soon meaning new summoner icons, skins and ward skins (potentially) for both events.
EDIT: Just realized that you do actually want to spend some on a champion for top lane. Id recommend checking out the august sales page and seeing if any champions are in there that you like and wouldn't mind waiting up to a couple weeks for. Fun top laners are champions like Riven, Gnar, Maokai, Lulu*, Nidalee, Darius, Akali, J4 , Cass etc.
So should I go ahead and buy Lissandra?
Good Splitpushers that do lots of Damage: Tryndamere, Jax, Aatrox, Heimerdinger Good Splitpushers that are pretty tanky: Garen, Nasus, Olaf
I also agree with Blue Speccs here about Irelia being a great tanky damage dealer who can splitpush easily.
Just my opinions! Hope at least one works out for you. I find Aatrox as a really good pick here.
Maokai is pretty much always a good pick top if you need a tank.

it all depends on your play style do you want to be the tank engage teleport on your team or do you want to be the split pusher while your team holds down the fort?
Should I get Riven? I mena I played her during an ARAM and I found her quite easy tbh.
id really recommend irelia if you dont' have her shes a really good duelist all she needs is her trinity force and blade of the ruined king and then go tanky and nothing can stop you trinity force is her biggest power spike
but if you want to adjust from split pushing to tanking gnar is really good at both
