Here is a list of my favorite Top Laners. Which ones should I focus on for solo queue?

From my personally experience, cho, gnar and Rene are ur best bet
Im not to amazing at solo q, but a fun champion in the top lane is jax, hes mobile(ish) and he can be very agressive and good at split pushing once you get the hang of him!:D

I'd say that all of those are viable except and just because they both require more team communication than is usually found in solo. I personally like both and just because they both have flexible builds that allow them to be built as either pure tanks or as secondary damage dealers for the team, which let's you fill whatever position your team needs. I like Garen, but you've got to be careful picking him because he can get hard countered in champ select and become completely irrelevant. Darius and Renekton are lane bullies who start falling off late game, which means they are good picks if you want to ruin your opponents lane (
especially) but I find are harder to carry with since you have to win/get fed early with them to stay powerful.
WANNA KNOW WHY ME ROGER IS SO JOLLY?! YAAAAARRRRRRRRHARHARHARHAHRHAHRHAHRHARHARRRRR!!! But for real, GP is fun as shit. Main him. Crit squishies. Get paid. Bank plank all day.
Try Rumble out , takes a little while to learn but once you do noone can counter you. You can Stomp Lane and Destroy all the carries in a teamfight.

Wukong due to being able to build as either assassin or bruiser with a great disruptive ult for team fights
solo que = darius (only if counter irealia or riven ect build full tank 1 damage item take ur pick) Garen is good, Pantheon, Kayle, irealia, bronzodia aka malphite, wukong.
Riven and Fizz are really good top lane but you have to be really good on them if you want to pull off a winning lane for most (like 90%) of your games. Hecarim is really good too just build tri force and then straight tank and you'll wreck the other team. Jax is also really good but you have to get going early otherwise you won't matter in the late game...so he gets camped a lot. Maokai and Malphite are also really good top laners... so yeah xD Thats my little list and out of those I play Riven, Fizz, Hecarim, and Jax top. I don't own maokai or malphite but they're both really good.
