So I may as well ask about those losses. Were they cases of "team just failed elsewhere on the map" or of "Lux doesn't reliably do enough in fights." ? It always seems that a single missed skillshot just drops Lux's damage output so much that it becomes a serious detriment to any teamfight. Basically she can't output enough damage reliably.

a combination of both the problem with lux is that anyone will outroam her and she cant hypercarry til 30-40 minutes in the game even if you have some kills because it takes awhile to get your mejai stacks going

if you rush damage you are worthless because you have no cdr so missing a single skillshot is fatal but if you rush cdr you will be stuck at 200-300 ap for awhile until your mejais gets stacks

That is pretty-much how it seems to work anytime I play with/against Lux. Since teams have moved away from a tanky Meta, fights are basically over much more quickly, so Lux only gets one shot to make an impact. Doesn't help that her shield works much better in a fight where both teams have focused more heavily on defense than they have on offense.
