Something i need to ask about Cs'ing as a bronzie

So i really want to get better and hopefully one day climb out of bronze and i have a pretty much ok understanding of this game and champion mechanics.

As far as positioning and Cs'ing/trading goes and as well as knowing when to split push well..... I think i need more practice but some good advice about now would really help me if that's ok. I know how to cs but sometimes i feel like i sometimes might take to much damage from the enemy laner going for a creep or altogether miss creeps because i don't want to take any damage

From what i also understand in higher levels people say that you're more punished for making mistakes in lane. What are these mistakes? and how can i also spot them too so i can take advantage of them?

If someone could reply id be much obliged. Thanks. Your fellow Bronze 5.summoner 3

It is something that isn't really explainable and you just have to play to understand yourself honestly. One thing though, notice that when your opponent is coming up to hit you, they will have a yellow outline around them, learn what each champion can more or less do and know when it is smart or not to trade, like most of the time, especially early on, don't trade in a minion wave, those fuckers hurt.

As for mistakes, just tiny things like missing CS, bad positioning, not warding, stuff like that.

It's really hard to put a finger on this exactly... Partly because it depends on the matchup and how the lane is going.

Obviously, the general strategy is to CS as much as possible without taking a bunch of damage from the enemy laner. And, when you can, do a bunch of damage to them. I would say this is fairly consistent with all champs (some cannot trade without losing, but you still want to IF you somehow, magically, can).

Basically, mistakes in lane are matters of positioning. If you put yourself in a situation where the enemy laner can attack you and win the trade, then you made a mistake. You took a bunch of damage and didn't get anything back for it. Every time you lose anything in league, you want to gain something equal or better in return. When you lose a trade, you're letting your opponent get something for nothing. So avoid that.

If you understand everything that I said above, then all you need to do is practice.

positioning: can they poke you? will you take alot of damage for that cs? can they cc you? are you over extended? Think aabout these when your in lane and thinking about if you should get that creep or not.

Another thing i see when coaching bronze players is they seem to hold their abilites for champs only. Dont be scared to pop your abilites on just creeps. You need that cs and mana/energy comes back, that cs doesnt.
