You and Ranked - General tips
General tips:
-
Warding It's not the support's responsibility to ward the whole map. The support can have 3 greens and 1 pink. 4 wards cannot cover the map, therefore, every person on the team must try and help out with wards. You can trinket, buy wards, whatever. Just help put vision on the map regardless of your lane. If you're complaining about lack of vision but you aren't warding, then you are a part of the problem.
-
Communication This is really important to your team. Pre game and in game. Pre-game, try to coordinate all of your strengths together instead of bickering about which lane you want. If you fight and argue in pre-game, it sets a bad tone in the game itself. Be cooperative as this is a team game.
-
Awareness Map awareness is important to everyone. Your lane and other lanes. Ping if your lane is missing or type it out. Don't just assume everyone knows someone is missing.
-
Support Support doesn't always come in bottom lane champ form. You can help with CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, like "oh they've picked an all AD comp. Build armor to win team fights" or "That jungler loves ganking from the lanes, try to ward the lane bushes" "STOP FEEDING" is not helpful. They know they're dying, give them tips on how NOT to die, not more frustration that makes the game worse for everyone.
and FINALLY, the MOST important thing
- Blame the Jungler As with every season, all fault rests with the jungler for not being able to get to the enemy nexus at lvl 1 and destroy it before minions spawn.
