So with the variety of announcers we've had with all of the various events, I'm wondering why we can't purchase any of them? I'm pretty sure Riot would make money from this because I'm sure many many people are tired of the same announcer...
yup, i would pay for the ahri announcer
More people got tired of Ahri for a week and not from the old one for 10 years. I really enjoyed Ahri (when she says "Double kill" for you, you know that you achieved something) and my favourite quote was "Your turret has been destroyed...Ahhh.... Don't worry I never really liked that turret anyways.". But for most people losing a teamfight and Ahri screaming "Defence, defence!" wasn't really enjoyable. I don't say no one likes Ahri but I say that making it purachisable probably a lot of people will regret buying it and it will stop feeling special any more. Riot have to do the work and yes they will get more money but if they ever do this they will just stop creating the announccers free for eveyone for a period of time and will make the "pay if you want to enjoy". This is my opinion.
yeah well guess what gankplank announcer was awful IMO, also the thresh one, preferences, i like the ahri announcer, and yes, all of her lines, and im sure theres other people out there who will pay top money for having it permanent
I LOVED the GP announcer and always wanted there to be an option to keep it. I have no idea why riot doesn't release announcer packs. Dota has them and they're really enjoyable to have. I'd drop some money on them.
