"Alright guys, before we pick lanes, lets decide on a team comp"

"Lol stfu this isn't diamond, win lane win game."

Meanwhile when the 5 AD comp loses, we all act surprised.

How the hell do you get people to get their head out their bronze asses and listen for all of 3 minutes?

Edit: everyone is under the impression that this was in something like silver. This has been a pattern ever since my steady decline from gold 2. Do people magically gain common sense in plat?

You don't. People either listen or they don't. It's a sad, unfortunate truth.

shrug* half right. Except its coming from someone in the same elo as you so it means nothing. if that was a diamond telling you that in a normal it would make some sense since he obviously got to diamond playing well enough to get there... Basically don't listen to people talking about higher elo bullshit and just focus on you./ Don't ask people to make a teamcomp. Ask them to play what they're comfortable with. A comfy team generally performs a lot better than a team on picks they consider "counters" this is true until around diamond when people start learning how to win lane easily with a counter pick/stronger pick.

And even then I've been playing kat against a leb/ahri/malz and shit on them because I mechanically out cs'ed and out roamed and out played them in teamfights with good positioning and proper lane set up for ganks/counter ganks.

It's all about personal skill in solo queue. duoing will only get you so far. And getting carried will be the same story as duoing, eventually people will brick wall you and you'll have to catch up mechanically to climb. Until then just enjoy learning the game and don't stress about others. It's not worth your braincells. Just focus on reading guides improving play asking questions and learning. Don't worry about other things. =]

You have to rely solely on yourself to climb up the ladder until high silver. Then, you can do that.

You dont want to force people to play champs they are not able to play. Especially in lower elo. I would rather have a good yasuo then a shitty maokai on toplane even if we end up having a squishy teamcomp. Also if you start with that you just promote toxic behaviour in champ select. It hurts more then it helps, ofc playing 5 ad champions is stupid, but that doesnt happen often, nearly all other teams can win a game. Its soloque, teamfights will be chaotic anyway so no need to overthink things.

That never works in low elo. Players usually don't have the champion pool and skill to do that. Let them pick champions they are good on. If you put someone on a champion they are so-so on, you will probably lose the game.

It's hard enough to get the lanes sorted out in the time allotted anyway.

Preventing a 5 AD team comp is easy:

Step 1: If you're the midlaner and you want to pick an AD champ, say so beforehand.

Step 2: Toplaner picks an AP champ like cho gath or the jungler picks something like fiddlesticks.

DONE!

You don't need specific teamcomps in ranked, you just gotta make sure you don't have any glaring weakness.

ive had two posts "deleted" by the mods. the problem your having is lytes made it okay for them to behave like that as long as they dont chat and even then you dont get the true toxic people banned.

just mute and play its all you can do cuase even reporting is pointless
