Shutdown Gold
Is it removed if champion is executed? In other words, if I am on a killing spree should I intentionally get executed so that the next kill on me wont be worth much?

I believe that executing does not remove shut down gold, almost certain.
Can someone confirm this?
Also, second question: Say shutdown gold is 500g. Is it better for me to get shutdown by one person or multiple? Does the killer get 500 and all assisters get extra gold? Or does the 500g get split evenly.
"When a champion is killed, the main killer gets a certain amount of gold, while 50% of that amount is divided up among everyone who got an assist on it."
This could go either way, it's not very clear. So if the main killer would get 100 gold, assist gets 50g. But if no assister does killer get 100g or 150g?

It actually used to be removed upon execution ((back in season 1.)) Shutdown gold was also 1,000. Not 500. And, they removed it after it started being abused. Basically, a person on a really large kill streak would go kill themselves in the enemy base while the enemy was away which reset them back to square one. After they nerfed that they then implemented this really cool thing called . . . "I'm just a support."
How this worked: Basically, the support is not allowed to get a single kill PARTIALLY because back then assists did not count towards your gold earning for killing them. Only kills did. So, if they did not get a kill, but say, had 20 assists and 6 deaths. They were still only worth . . . 60 to 50 gold instead of 300. However, if they got a kill they'd reset back to 300. So, this created the theme of supports diving in front of anyone that wasn't them reason being. They're only worth 60 gold, compared to everyone else being 300+. However, they fixed this too. Because, well, back then, Soraka was disturbingly hard to bring down, and even after you burned the 6 heals, had your entire team die, and then finally blew everything along with 4 ignites to kill her ((she's usually the last one standing.)) Your team got a whole whopping 60 gold! WOO.
