Upvote VS Downvote Threads
I've been watching the Boards for a while now. Most thread votes are determined by title alone (and the first line of test). This is because you can vote on the Boards home screen. There are some common themes which seem to consistently earn down-votes and up-votes. Here is my list:

BANDWAGON EDIT: Yes, when a thread has 10+ upvotes a majority of people upvote no matter what. Some even convince themselves that they would have upvoted anyhow.
As this thread fits NONE of these descriptions well I have absolutely no idea how this one will turn out. I just found it interesting that recently I have been able to see a new thread and auto-predict whether it would be upvoted or down-voted to oblivion.
