Upvote VS Downvote Threads

I've been watching the Boards for a while now. Most thread votes are determined by title alone (and the first line of test). This is because you can vote on the Boards home screen. There are some common themes which seem to consistently earn down-votes and up-votes. Here is my list:

UPVOTE THREADS

  1. The sarcastic title Sample Title: QQ Invisible Champions All Need Nerfs!! Sample First Line: ...maybe buy a pink ward for 100g, eh?

BANDWAGON EDIT: Yes, when a thread has 10+ upvotes a majority of people upvote no matter what. Some even convince themselves that they would have upvoted anyhow.

As this thread fits NONE of these descriptions well I have absolutely no idea how this one will turn out. I just found it interesting that recently I have been able to see a new thread and auto-predict whether it would be upvoted or down-voted to oblivion.

Champion Concepts- Upvoted because people like the concept. Downvoted because people are making their own concepts and don't like the competition.

Because Rito decided to show the net up/down votes rather than keeping them separate, it's also completely dependent on the first view votes.

I've noticed if 2-3 people down vote something, people see a thread with -3 votes and automatically go into it ready to down vote as well. The exact same thread can be posted again, but receive a few up votes first this time, and it can become massively popular.

It's not a very good system IMO.

ZED IS OP I mean, I picked Kayle because it's a clear counter of Zed. I had 10 minions at min 10 and I have no idea why my Hydra didn't work when I activated E, but hey, I'm a counter so it's impossible that Zed could kill me. He's clearly OP. Plz, nerf his Q so it only damages his allies.

STOP WHINING ABOUT KATARINA Everyone has the right to their opinion as long as their opinion is the same as my opinion. So stop complaining about X champion, they are all balanced. All of them except Malzahar. I f*cking hate Malzahar. He's really overpowered and deserves a nerf.
