MMR Decay

Just posting this as an illustration for those who think High elo TFT is plagued by inverted Win/Loss LP.

This account is only Gold II atm, has 225 Matches.

Guess what? It's starting to feel what every person of "high elo" is complaining about. MMR Decay.

#In other words, it's not a new account! It no longer gets 50+ LP in Gold for First place.

My Plat accounts have much fewer games and have much higher rewards for a first place (around 50) than this Gold account does.

In other words....... TFT is doing exactly the same thing Summoner's Rift does to accounts over time:

#It ties lead weights to their ankles, and slows them down, and eventually gives them negative LP gain results because the system has decided they've played too many games to progress further, even if their technical skill has grown and they deserve to be higher.

(It's very likely the Diamonds/Plats complaining about 32 LP #1 and -80 LP #8 have matured their accounts to a point where losing is no longer sustainable....)

"Riot wouldn't mess with MMR and LP, you're just in the rank you belong"

Their game design philosophies are mind boggling. They're actually discouraging prolonged gameplay be doing this.

Summoners rift is not doing this over time.

Summoners rift places you 2-3 divisions on average below your mmr that you have after ur inranked. That means when ur visually inranked as gold 4, you play against gold 2 enemys teammates all the time, get insane "lp" gain, for about 30+ while only loosing 10. While you do gain insane "lp" gains, you do not gain insane "mmr" gains. Your mmr gain is normal as always, the same as you loose almost always, therefore u catch up towards ur mmr with ur visual rank. The reason why riot does this, is to get people into spamming ranked games, giving them the illusion that they climb with a 50% wr which however isn't true at all. The only thing they do is getting towards their actual mmr, while it doesn't even increase. they think they have increased it, but they only increased their rank if they kept 50% wr from start.

The simpliest example to explain it is this "placed in gold 4 and 30Lp gain "hidden mmr equals 1500" You hold a 50% winrate, you successfully climbed now into gold 2 but now ur lp gain is down to 18 "hidden mmr equals still 1500"

The reason why it's true what i say is, that i consistently spam over 500+ ranked games, I peaked at master 140Lp and i started to climb after 300+ games, because i simply won more games. I was only once in a situation where i lost alot more Lp than i gained, which was due to me loosing a insane amount of games more than winning, and after i won the games back my gain and mmr was right back there.

Idk how tft works, i just wanted to actually tell you guys that summoners rift does not smth like you get worse mmr gains and more mmr looses when u spam more games. that's simply false.

I don't think that's how it work. There are a challenger negative win rate in 2000+ games.
