Suggestions: Reworking Healing inhibitors, Demons and Glacials

I've been following TFT news since it was first announced and since it was on PBE. I've playing TFT for a while, now. I'm currently Plat 2 in ranked and I have a pretty good grasp of how this game works.

I made few threads talking about so many things concerning TFT and even made suggestions to improve the game overall. You can check these threads, if you're curious, by clicking on the links below:

Please remove Cursed Blade and hard nerf Hush and Sword Breaker!, Unhealthy ranked system for a game still in Beta! Lack of " tactics " in teamfight tactics! Tooltip for PvE monsters, detailed ability/item descriptions and 2 item slots per unit Ruining in-game progression: Hextech origin, as if Cursed Blade wasn't enough!

But today, I wanna talk about Healing inhibitors, Demons and Glacials, why they're unhealthy for the game atm, and how to rework them into more balanced and suitable origins for TFT's gameplay.

  • First, Healing inhibitors. It doesn't take a genius to realize that disabling healing completely is just a stupid idea (item 3165 + Red Buff) . Instead, implement the usual Grievous Wounds debuff, whether it's 40% or 60% healing reduction. I mean, Katarina does apply it with her ability in TFT, so it's not like you can't code it into the game or anything, since it's already in the damn game.

  • Secondly, Demons: All demon have a chance to burn all of an enemy's mana and deal tha much true damage.

  • This origin includes Aatrox Brand Elise Evelynn Morgana Swain Varus. In their current state, all demons have good AoE damage. Even Elise, which is the worst of them all, has her spiderlings that can be used as a good aggro mechanic to waste the enemy unit's time and stall for your own units to do damage.

  • Here, I have 2 questions: Why does the " mana burn " mechanic exist in a game where all units (except Graves, Vayne and Kassadin) use mana to cast their abilities (even demons themselves) in the first place? And why does the damage have to be TRUE damage? This makes it that demons get to play the game, since they can still use their abilities, deal tons of damage with their AoE abilities and heir true damage, and everybody else doesn't get to play the game, since they can't use their abilities because they have no mana for it. Not to mention that you can make new demon units using **spatula + **item 3070. How is that a fair mechanic? How did this get approved to be implemented into a game based on using mana to cast abilities?

  • My suggestion here is to change the demon origin to do something else. For example, maybe demons can have increasing Lifesteal and/or Spellvamp depending on how many are they on board (2/4/6 --> 10%/15%/20%). This also fits into their theme of creatures who suck the life force out of their prays. Of course, the numbers in my example may be bad, but you get the idea. Also, if they implement grievous wounds instead of the heal disabling mechanic, this could be decent and balanced enough to be viable to pick and use, and fair to play against.

  • Lastly, Glacials: Attacks (including abilities) from Glacials have a chance to stun for 2 sec.
  • This origin includes Anivia Ashe Braum Lissandra Sejuani Volibear. In their current state, the comp is overloaded with hard CC. Heck, even the individual units are overload with CC and on-hit effects. Sejuani can single handedly freeze your whole team. And let's not talk about Demon Volibear... permastun + perma mana burn on your whole team... Very fun to play against, hein?! How is this allowed to exist?!

  • My suggestion here is to change the glacial origin into something different. For example, maybe glacial can increasingly slow the attack speed of the units they're hitting, depending on how many they are on the board (2/4/6 --> 15%/20%/25%, or something like that). This should be balanced and good enough to be picked and used, while being fair to play against. Afterall, I would rather have my units attack slower than be perma stunned the whole freaking fight, doing nothing but being a practice dummy for the enemy units.

What do you guys think of my ideas? Am I crazy and stupid for thinking this or is it logical and reasonable enough for Riot to consider it?
