Just saying LoL has some of the most controversy ridden constantly sponsored and protected streamers out there, they practically get away with murder but still get a paycheck and promoted content.

Its actually confirmed that streamers have been offered better drop rates as part of a "special promotion offer" it came out during the recent FTC investigation into loot boxes.

I made a thread about this awhile ago. The fact that game developers can change the drop rates for streamers (or ANYONE for that matter) is straight up bullsht. Loot boxes are bullsht in general, but this take it to a whole new level. They need to be banned ASAP along with microtransactions and dlc.

I don't think this is going to happen. Twitch streamers and well-known Youtubers depend on money they'll get from creating their own content and thus they will (not saying that everybody will) throw a tons of cash just to buy a feature that should've been implemented for free, long time ago.

You do know that this thing is only an issue to F2P players, right? Streamers could care less if it's BE or RP. The old rune system was actually pretty annoying to them and forced them to buy IP boosts, haha.
