But seriously, this is not the first time you've excluded TFT from being mission eligible. Making missions SR exclusive feels like ass, not going to lie.

Yeah, it's the second. If I remember correctly, the missions they did have for the beta pass for TFT were bland or just annoying to complete, so they're probably still trying to figure out the best options for missions for TFT. Not to mention that the PROJECT tokens can't be used for anything to show off in TFT.

Well, to be technically correct it's not SR exclusive. You can complete the missions in ARAM too. Not a huge deal, but I think it's important not to twist the reality of things when it comes to making a complaint or giving feedback.
