Second place has no real carry. 9 inferno doesn't mean much if you never get abilities off.
Brand is a complete non-factor. With no mana items and no oceans, he's never going to get enough mana to ult before he dies. Qiyana has a really janky item build that doesn't make much sense, and repeating crossbow is one of the worst items in the game. Stacking items on a Diana is a poor choice, ESPECIALLY one at 2 stars. You could maybe justify it at 3 stars, but at 2 it's just awful. Nocturne is just sort of there, and doesn't benefit from any of the synergies. Nocturne needs a specific set of items to be OP, the "blender" comp when you can get a BOTRK on him is the strongest comp in the game right now, but without the right items, he's just meh. He also has no +AD items so he might have high attack speed but he hits like a wet noodle. It seems like someone heard Nocturne was OP, but didn't know why or how so just threw him into their comp.
He should have sold his Nocturne to replace him with a front liner, and then put the items on the Kindred. And tried to replace the brand with Amumu, then maybe considered just settling for 6 inferno and focusing on getting shadow. This might free up room to grab something like clouds or mystics or wardens to counter what first and third have.
tl;dr:
ineffective Nocturne (also forgot to mention, Nocturne can get bursted down really fast without Steel synergy)
Stacked items on a 2* Diana
Incredibly Janky itemization, especially on Qiyana
Useless Brand
