Am I the most unlucky person or this game is just way too random?

I'm pretty sure this has happened to a lot of people in many games but I just get this almost every single game, and it's that ''the shop''(where you buy the champion cards, I'll just call it shop from now on) gives random champions that have absolutely nothing to do with whatever I have already built. Last game I had only assassins and voids on the bench and in the battlefield and for like 5 rounds in a row everything I got on the shop were champions that were all but assassins and void, literally not a single champion from those 2 roles in 5 damned rounds, meanwhile I was seeing people upgrading their champions to lvl 3 and crying on the inside while fighting them with my lvl 1 and a couple lvl 2 assassins.

Before you tell me that the game is about adapting to whatever the shop gives me, am I supposed to sell my entire lineup and trust the shop just because it gave me 2 or 3 nobles one round expecting to get more nobles the next round and then actually not getting those ever again for the rest of the game? This game feels like casino gambling games where they let you get good results one round to earn your trust and get you into gambling just to grab all your money later, rather than focusing on how you position your champions, what items you build on them and your overall TACTICS. Because lets be honest, who hasnt been destroyed by enemies just because they had 2 or 3 lvl 3 champs with some items while you had a perfect 6 stack of whatever faction but your champs were level 2 and 1.

I don't think it would be a bad idea to make the shop completely random for 6 or 7 rounds and from there on, increase the probability that you get champions related to what you already have

There are champion pools in this game, so if you have something, the likely hood you find a champion you already have is naturally lower.

If there are 20 Reksais in the game, and you have 6 of them, there is now 14 reksais to find. Also, there are breakpoints you want to learn with certain levels having a better chance to drop certain tier of units. Any sheet cheat will have this info on it.

Honestly you should try to fish for multiple synergies at a time, committing to one thing is very difficult and if another player is competition they can take those pieces from the pool and lower your odds of finding them.

Say you have Assassins + Void, you also have options for Brawlers, Demons, Ninjas, Imperials, Wild, Pirates, and Sorcerers. Assassin/Void both only require 3 units, so if these other synergies fall into your lap you should take them ASAP so that if you can't find enough for your first synergy, you still have something to play. Like if you finish 3 void and 2 brawler but can't find assassins, maybe you should try something else for your damage line if its easier to get and keep the Kha for synergy.

Learning how to convert your comp is an important skill since the RNG and limited champion pool can limit your options, but they're often more open than you realize. Also try not to finish more than 2 units at a time for 3 star, you don't want to limit your bench space when you could get 2 star units that fit your lineup.

it feels like there are pre determined winners, like you could have perfect econ, be going for a comp that nobody else is going, lets say u see nobody going yordles, u have 4 yordles, ok u decide to go yordles, but once u start playing your yordles the game wont show you another yordle, you roll 60 gold, MAYBE find ONE yordle, end up in 4th place and look at the top 3 players remaining, none have yordles, as a matter of fact, the 3 of them are all fighting over the use of the same champs and for w/e reason the last 2 ppl are going elementalists using the same champs, they both have all 2-3* champs despite fighting over getting those champs and meanwhile, you cant find one yordle when nobody else is going yordles and there are SIX yordles to be found AND YOU ROLLED SIXTY $#$^ING GOLD

meanwhile, there are games where u dont try for a thing, u literally just buy every pair, stage 6 rolls around and you somehow have a perfect comp and 4 or 5 level 3 units and its like, i didnt try for this, i did nothing to build this comp, it was handed to me, and thats when you realize you're the pre determined winner

the one game i was handed nobles, didnt want nobles, but i just kept getting em, ended the game with 3* on everyone except leo and kayle who were 2* units AND i had 2* swain in the comp and was about to level up to put in my 2* draven when i won

one of the most disappointing games ive ever played, being handed a win like that while others are trying sucks, no matter which side of that you are on, it sucks, whether you lose because your not allowed to upgrade any of your units or you win because game hands you 3* champs it just sucks

it seems the only times there are close games are when theres someone not caring, and they throw and die early, and even then its about an eighth of the time that that happens where its a close game, its like the person who died early was the predetermined winner and now that hes gone we get to have a fair game

I'm on board with this. Yes you can try to make comps, you can look and see what your opponents are collecting, make sure that your not double or triping up but in the end its still 95% RNG and that just isn't a recipe for success. Theres a ton of potential here and its a fun alternative but the way it exists now... I might as well go to vegas and roll dice.

I've had dozens of games where I get 2 of something and then never see that drop again for the entirety of the game. or games where people end with 4 teir 3's... I dont care what your comp is your not beating that. Theres way too much RNG as the game currently stands and while fun its driving people away.
