How are people supposed to win if 3 teammates are working with them to play denial?

I just witnessed my first game of Denial.

Basically what Denial is:

  • One core team member builds a build that counters other compositions. -The other two build kits that mimic and copy parts of the other 5 members of the match.

What this does:

The 5 other comps cannot complete champs beyond 2 stars. The counter builder CAN. The one I just saw basically played Denial of "Yordle/Wild" 2 People built identical builds, while the 3rd built counter Yordle.

They didn't switch to this until after about round 13, but kept the components in their decks.

i saw this happening, 1 dude on my team saved 4 1 stars and swapped to them when vsing they dou, then back to real pieces TFt should only be 1 player no teams allowed

Not that hard to counter. You save your econ to swap teams during mid game, then they won't have enough time to deny.

I think what you're describing is much more difficult than what you're suggesting, and since you can't decide who you're going to fight in each round, the one that's building to counter would basically kill off his allies, freeing up their units, and giving you a chance to compete, so I think it's a self-defeating strategy most of the time.

Plus, what do you suppose they would do if you were to switch gears and mimic the counter?

I doubt they did it to really deny you if they switched its because it was made available to them...they can't just force those champs to appear for them and if they just try to force it they will be knocked out fast and you would have access to them immediately after so you just focus on leveling and not worry about the or simply switch over.

Build a premade and fight back. That tactic works, but only to some degree. In your other games, treat all chat like you're playing RISK or Town of Salem and build alliances in-game. That is part of the strategy, just so you know.
