What is this sorcery xD yesterday I reached 5th place and got demoted

There is no consistency at all with this freaking system.

You can check my post, I was playing my smurf account and in my last 10 games I all made it to top 4, I even got 6 1st place in those 10 games. So in theory my MMR should be pretty high. However, in my last game, I got 4th place and lost 7lp. why???

People will say it’s because of the mmr of the people you’re playing with. I say if there aren’t enough people playing ranked tft that you have to mix the mmr that much, why is riot getting rid of Twisted Treeline? The ranked there wasn’t this separated yet “there aren’t enough people playing it”. Either don’t have ranked tft until you can fix all the issues, or don’t have it at all.

That means that everyone else in that game was higher MMR than you, the system compensates the uneven matchmaking with higher LP gains/lower LP losses. If you would have won you would have gotten 90+LP, I got 98 once myself.

Why is everyone higher mmr by that much though? Sounds like either the matchmaking sucks or there aren’t enough players playing to put you against your own mmr. Either way it’s messed up.

Or there are premades at a higher MMR than you in the game
