Personally I'd like to see a dodge and report option. If you report without the ability to dodge, you are still going to have to play with the guy.

The game already promotes dodging.

One of the actual official guides for climbing the ladder is flat out dodging when you think you're ether stuck with a troll or you're auto filled.

Dodging is a valid strategy, which is why riot gives everyone a free dodge in ranked every day. Don't waste your time and likely lose a game while trying to put up with someone who is completely toxic. If you don't dodge, the chances of you losing the next game are high because you are still tilted from sticking it out.

I'm not telling anyone how to play, I just don't like trolls in my games. Where in my comment did I tell people how to play? If you're playing nunu adc, you should at least take summs that would benefit you lol. I'm one of the few supports who still try even with off meta picks, I even save my pick to try and complement the off meta adc. I love how you basically cited my exact example in your next comment too whilst being toxic to me for saying it lol. Maybe you're mad because this option would ruin your chance to troll games? In which case, YOU are the one who should stop complaining because this game isn't meant to be some sort of clown fiesta, it's supposed to be a moba.

How do you know they are trolling?

Have they openly admitted it in chat? or Are they playing something off-meta in an unconventional role and you don't approve of and thus find to be "troll"?

Unless it is the former, there is never any 100% proof that someone is trolling.

There are many champions that work in roles they normally shouldn't, just because you don't like it, does not mean they are trolling.

And if it is the former, then you just submit a report ticket on the site, with a link to the match in question (assuming it goes through and someone doesn't dodge. If that is the case just report them for what they said and include their summoner name)

I think "off meta" and "inting" have lost their definitions.

"Off meta" would mean you're not playing the top champ, what you're thinking of is "non-viable", like AP Darius support with summoner 11 summoner 13 and rushing item 3089 . And if you want to tell me that isn't trolling, well then I've got some beachfront property to sell to you in Montana.

A week or two ago there was a int feeder on the boards making threads telling everyone that he was doing it, he made support tickets telling riot that he was doing it and still wasn't banned.

Dodging itself isn't punished. It's 3 LP and a few minutes of time to discourage you from doing it all the fucking time. And the time it takes for punishment tiers to reset is a fucking joke.

Calling it a punishment is kinda hard when it barely even qualifies as a slap on the wrist.

Yeah seriously, I've had so many games with people intentionally banning other people's (perfectly fine and meta) picks, or instalocking with the intention of trying to steal someone else's lane because they don't want to play whatever role they got assigned.

Seems like a lot of recent queues either have someone spamming the n-word then leaving so they don't get reported, or someone decides they don't like their assigned role so they ban the champion selected by another player. Even if we don't get a way to dodge the troll, a report/ignore/blacklist feature would be nice. Then again, I would think that it would be really easy to review bad behavior that happened in champ select since there's very little content needed for review. Judicious use of bans for actual and false reports would likely improve behavior a lot. summoner 14

As someone who plays off meta champions, like Kalista as a support, I can't tell you how many games I lost because someone gave up because my choice in champion.
