Light is still hot garbage, by the time you hit 6 Light you're guaranteed to be below 50 HP

The units are just way too expensive, you'd be lucky to get half of what you need even with hyper rolling.

Not to mention how ball shatteringly item depended the comp is, you need perfect items to stack a Vayne or Jax, otherwise you just don't do damage and you'll get steamrolled by every other comp.

It's depressing.

seems they got problem balancing this seasong. Last patch was pretty badly thought thrue. Meta is very stale. Playing light is pretty much like griefing ureself ;)

Light Is supposed to be a super late game comp, so being low is fine.

It's also built around funneling power to the last unit standing, which is why they all suck individually - and why item optimization isn't entirely necessary (aside from getting BT).

Light only struggles because of Glacial Olaf and sword breaker Sivir (like everyone else). Light doesn't have the burst necessary to kill either of them before getting locked down.

30 is about the point you should start to worry.

Light is a terrible buff atm. I hyper-rolled and hit 9 Light, with a stacked Ashe with Taric Crystal synergy.

So basically 9 Light, 2 Crystal, 4 Rangers, and yet I still got crushed by the 3 Olaf abusers, the blender abuser and the mage warden player.

I just think it needs a rework, cause you can't really buff it, and it's terrible as it is now, especially since all the units in Light have 0 synergy with each other. You have a Blademaster, a Berserker, a Ranger, a Warden, a Mystic, a Summoner, and now Lucian.

I feel like the only way you ever make Light good is by abusing Lucian+Senna, but even then, why run Light? Just run Wardens and Shadow units.

I agree with OP though, the comp does no damage, you're relying on another unit to win it for you, thereby meaning that 3 Light is the single best option to go with when running Light. Which then brings into question, why even run it at all?

You have a Blademaster, a Berserker, a Ranger, a Warden, a Mystic, a Summoner, and now Lucian.

Meanwhile:

  • Ocean gets 2 Wardens & 2 Mages.
  • Inferno gets 2 Rangers, 2 Summoners & sometimes 2 Assassins.
  • All 3 Druids are also Woodland.
  • Glacial gets 2 Berserkers.
  • ...and then vice versa for any of those as well.

If a couple Light units could just get a 3rd trait, it wouldn't feel so bad & wouldn't struggle so much early on. Give Warden to either Jax or Yorick. Give Senna Light.

Instead of constantly buffing the Light trait itself or it's individual units literally EVERY PATCH. Allowing them to have a 2nd inherent trait would do a lot more in the way of pushing Light into a better position.

hyper rolling its the reverse/contrary of aiming to get a 6 set bonus
