Remake vote needs to start at 1:30, if your ally isn't there when minions meet the game isn't fair

If you aren't even connected to the match when the game officially starts at 1:30 when the jungle creeps spawn and the minions are fighting each other then there is NO god damn reason why the team you're screwing over shouldn't be allowed to call a remake.

A lot of people go to toilet or get a drink during loading. Sometimes the game loads quick some times it doesn't. Ending a game when minions meet is stupid early some times

I don't think the vote should start at 1:30. But I think if someone was afk for the beginning 1:30 their team should be able to remake the game at the current remake timing even if they come back after 1:30.

Does that sound too dumb? Give that person the chance to make up for their afk in the few minutes after 1:30 until remake vote. Then let the team decide.

I say, let it stay at 3 minutes but remove the vote and make it guaranteed to work if anyone on the team with the dc wants to remake.

I think not buying items before 1:00 is remake worthy.

Especially when you include teams invading etc.

Hell this game needs to do an AFK check at 30 seconds... Just because of how random the load times are from game to game.

Usually a small percentage of the time it's the clients fault for afk.

Magical Poop2/13/2020, 8:32:56 AM2 votes

we should be able to pause the game for 4 minutes at the beggining for situations like that in my opinion

KhaZix Bot2/13/2020, 9:54:55 AM2 votes

Yeah, here's an idea. Let's not scam a large portion of competitive players until the client is fixed and loads 100% of the time, thanks.

And what about ranked games then?

Rito's shitty client crashed and If I didnt log back in 1 min 30 sec I must loose LP?

Excuse me?

It's fine as it is at the moment, whoever crying, keep crying, nothing will change anyway.

How about as a replacement of current remake: after the game finishes loading for everyone, each person is shown a 'ready check' prompt that everyone must press in order for players to leave their base. If anyone fails to press ready before minions spawn, the remake vote starts and the gates open to let people out of bases regardless.

This also fixes the issue of an afk ruining thr chance to fight back against an early invade.

I wish they would have done this earlier.

Awful idea. No reason to punish people that crash at the start of the game because Riots client sucks.

Just like surrender needs to take place fully at 15 not 20 given the increased pace of games every season the past few years (not just game time, but at a certain point the game is over despite it not being literally end screen over. And it needs to be majority vote so Duos can't hold games hostage with 2 votes.

Shiroyashayami2/14/2020, 7:30:04 PM1 votes

Yeah, you are right. It fucks the game over and can cost us lp. Like, whe ppl aren't there when you need them and the game starts you can get killed literally at the start. They can invade or that guy might come late and die to the lvl disadvantage.

You'd have to decrease the penalty for not being present then. The reason the time is what it is currently is that it gives people who've fully disconnected or their client has crashed to rejoin the game. Dodging and being missing from a game currently has relatively high penalties to both queue times and LP.
