Summoned units need a number and/or HP nerf and Berserker's cone attack needs a nerf on its range.

Summoners flood the board so easily and redirect aggro to their huge number of beefy minions while staying so safe. They literally dominate all stages of the game. Combine that with Inferno + Mage + Ocean buffs, and you'll be 1st in no time. Since no one is going for and 9 synergies, it's really easy to splash in those buffs every game.

Please, nerf the number of summoned units and/or their HP [summoned minions] so that we can have a chance of defeating them. Right now, there is no real counter play to their comps and the summoner minions take so long to kill, it feels bad. The only fair summoner, atm, is Annie. All the others are broken af.

Berserker's cone attacks are huge and reach too far behind the target in a very wild area. Combined with Glacial buff, they literally control the whole board. The cone range should be nerfed to only reach 1 more hex behind their targets, 2 at best. Otherwise, the backline carried will be dead at the same time as the frontline.

Azir and Annie are balanced summoners in my opinion. Azir's minions aren't targetable and have limited range and Annie only summons one.

Now Zyra, Malz and Yorick on the other hand...

IMO the way to properly balance Yorick is to make his Spell cast-able only once per round. They also need to fix the bug where he can bless Tibbers and Void Spawn to spawn Mist Ghouls. Malzahar needs the same treatment as Annie - only gain mana once his Spawn are dead... if you throw a Seraphs & Spear on Malzahar he will literally fill the entire board with Void Spawn and there is no way to counter it at all.

I think the Berserker Cone is fine because it's severely reduced damage, but Olaf needs to be changed so that his Cone doesn't proc Glacial - same with Volibear.

I wouldn't consider Azir broken tbh

I agree with you about the berserker's cone range being too big. It's especially annoying when my ranged units walk up into their range and int. However, berserkers are one of the counters to summoners, as much as I've expressed how much I hate Olaf on these boards, he's a decent counter to them as his ult and Berserker boost allow him to clear the minions fast.

Another thing I suggest trying is a ranged AD carry with item 3085 and Deathblade. Deathblade will stack off the minion kills giving your carry infinite extra AD to deal with the pesky malz and yorick minions.

I just really wish units wouldn't focus fire the minions instead of the summoner who is low HP busy summoning more. It's SO frustrating losing rounds to that bs
