I was hoping TFT was gonna be a "deck builder" type game, where i get to choose a specific deck to play and require some strategic level. Instead its just completely random as to the cards you get dealt, then factor in the random attack patterns that happen, then the random Carousel champ pick that occurs for some reason. Agreed. I wouldn't mind a bit of randomness with the items you get or whatever. But at least normalize items like at least one item a creep wave and after 'x' rerolls you get a champion you need to lvl up.

No, it's not that type of game. Card games allow you to choose what you get, but otherwise are JUST as rng as tft. Who you play, what you get, what they get, all rng. TFT is just that, but more like a draft format. You have to learn to play what you have, not what you want.
