Hextech meta is driving me insane.
But...... Not really. I've been losing. A LOT. Aredethe is down from Plat IV to Gold IV. There's always some fluke which gives some other players a MAJOR advantage in this patch.
At the very least, it doesn't seem like winning is possible near reliably enough, and there is immense pressure to spend coins earlier than you should now, because if someone gets an early Hextech lead, coupled with some quick execute mechanic on the rest of their team.... they start pressuring HP MUCH earlier.
I'm someone who generally understands how to create economy. But..... I've been running into a LOT of situations where no feasible build path has arrived by ~ round 4.
Not only do I not get items, the items that used to be core are no longer core (morello/red buff). It seems like
are the items now; if you don't get them you're going to lose!
I don't think Hextech is powerful when people spread out. But JINX IS. If you kill 2 of 9 units on the other team, Jinx will kill the rest!
#I think the biggest problem Hextech created:
-It had several Buffs/Nerfs to other stuff accompany it which made more champs broken. -It came with a sizeable addition to the "deck's" card total, reducing the ability of players to 2-3 star champions, because they are having to run through more of them. -Hextech's effect needs toned down, as 8 seconds + is too powerful for ANY trait.
^ Has resulted in a situation that whoever wins the early big champion lottery early...... translates that into a huge lead later in the game. Larger than they had before.
The following is basically what I have to do to win now:

Yeah. 3 star Aatrox. Items I had in this match:
Aatrox:
(boosted by both Sorc AND Demon for Mana procs)
Kayle:
Cho Gath: (If I recall late game only a
)
Jinx:
+ Sword Breaker
Gangplank: Naked (wasn't core to this game's build; was mostly to get Gunslinger for Jinx)
Morgana:
(Shiv was the only thing I could build early on, and she was 1 star until VERY late game)
Darius: Nothing
Garen: Nothing
Kass: Nothing
#Before this is like 12 consecutive losses.....
