just make him use his w during his spin and take 30% less damage against physical and magical for the duration, instead of magic immune.
alternatively you could just promote him to a T2 or T3 unit. i dont really see why he has to be nerfed around being the lowest quality pick, when his ability should just make him a higher tier unit.
Agree, i'd like seeing him as tier 2 with ~50 more base hp and 20/30/40% DR from his W duering the spin instead of magicimmunity. And while he is strong, i actually donb't find him OP as tier 1, Kassadin and nida both feel quite a bit stronger to me. The main thing that makes him look to strong is that knights have a strong early and so have nobles, so his class/origin combo adds to early power. But later on, i could care less about nobles, knights or even a lvl 3 garen...
Garen is fine, a little strong but fine. Better than Darius actually. What Riot should do is push up some units like Morde or Poppy, not starting to nerf to the ground tanks. Tanks needs to do their job and they need to offer good CC or some AoE.
