Client Freezes at 100% During Loading Screen

The client too often freezes at the 100% mark when it is transitioning between loading screen and the game. It's hard to tell if it actually froze or just taking awhile to transition. Once you finally realize the client froze, you have to restart the whole client, if not computer.

In SR this may not be too big of a deal, but in TFT it causes you to start the game at 75 HP or below (One time I started at 50HP, FEELSBADMAN), with no comp, and most likely no items from minions leading to even more losses until you can finally get some footing.

Maybe some additional checks need implemented to make sure everybody has loaded in correctly.

Edit: Happened again. Forced to restart. Starting to thing it's intentional edit 2 min later: had to to restart again. finally rejoined and now I have the "can't see synergies" bug. I almost felt like I was just bitching but this is getting to be ridiculous. Please fix your client. I have neither an outdated computer nor bad connection.

I have found from my experience that having Google Chrome open during the time the match starts/loads will freeze my computer. If I reboot my PC and restart league without Chrome open. It works fine.

This is bullshit riot. This has happened to me so much, i have lost over 150 lp from this. I have literally nothing else open in background either. Either fix it or compensate me forneverytime it happens

In the past two days, this has happened to me like three times. All on SR. This is really frustrating. Also, it can freeze on "Victory" screen. And I also have to restart the whole system. Was looking for a possible fix, but didn't find any so far. Also, today the client decided after the 100% loading screen freeze and a system restart, that it needs to be updated. After that, updated again. After that another 4GB update. That was just sad. Also, just as I'm writing, just restarted the system after another "Victory" screen total freeze. Can't just close the program, cause Task Manager isn't accessible.

Maybe someone has a clue other than "close every other program"? Because in the former case I should run LoL operating system or maybe just play it on my microwave oven.

Does your client need a repair after? i have noticed in TFT it will freeze and then the client will force a repair, often leading to auto lose last place games

This happened to me a few minutes ago. I could see other apps in alt-tab but then the load screen would just stay on top of other windows. I had to sign out of Windows and have it automatically kill everything, then sign back in.

This bug has become much more frequent as of late. It has lost me 5 games out of my last 20. Even worse, it prevents the computer from alt-tabbing or going to task manager, so one time I actually lost unsaved schoolwork because I had to restart the computer to escape the freeze. I don't know what to do. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the client. I've surfed the fora. There's no apparent solution.

This bug makes me afraid to try to play League. I downloaded DotA today. Gonna see if I can get my MOBA fix through DotA from now on. Sigh.

I've invested so much time into learning League, this is so upsetting.
