Sigh.... Akali buff with the implementation of crit items and crit based Assassin Synergy?

I'm really confused why there's an Akali Skill buff on PBE when everything coming out next patch already massively benefits her.

-Crit on Assassins (last latch) adding 10-25% Crit rate -New Gloves adding Crit rate, dodge rate, potentially not only making her 1 auto attack >Skill cost more deadly..... but making her near impossible to kill too.... -New Yordle Synergy item to make her even more so. -New has 20% Crit and a 200% Crit modifier.

So not only is she going to be capable of about 75% Crit, and that scaling + 200% Damage from a single item, they're increasing her base too?

^ Easily makes her the most powerful 4 Tier in the game.

(Keep in mind Akali has a lower Mana base than Lucian does. 1 auto, 1 skill without even building mana items) 25 Mana.

Good luck building enough Phantom Dancers to avoid this.

as long as PD still also dodges vs her, it won't matter and she'll still be easily neutralized...

I just hate riotes rock paper scissor design lately, hardcounters just don't feel like a good way of balanceing a game, and it even gets worse when you have to relie on RNG to get that counter...they can justify akali beeing absurd because one item can basically remove her from the game, just how some heals like Swain are broken, but not striktly OP cause GW is so overtuned aswell...the entier TFT balance feels like DotA, everything is broken but it's 'fine' cause it gets countered by somethin that is just as broken...

The problem with this thinking: Keep in mind Akali doesn't have to be in a pure Assassin Comp (everyone critting).

In the upcoming patch she can be in a Ninja/Yordle Comp with 3 assassins.

In which case..... all but three of the champs are skill and auto attack (not crit) based, so the team will kill the PD user while she kills everyone else.

Ie....... Ninja + Sorcerer + Yordle
