I can't ever upgrade Varus to a two star unit. How?

Am I just insanely unlucky with a crazy chunk of coincidental sparkles here, or do more people have problems with Varus?

I think he's a pretty strong champ. Sadly, I can NEVER upgrade him to two star. I try it often. I get him one unit, cool. Reroll a bit, wait a bit. No more Varus ever in my card slots. Sometimes I wait too long, he just NEVER shows up again. Sometimes I waited 20+ mins and not a single Varus in my slot.

It's just not one game , or couple of games, it's tóns of games. He just seems impossible to upgrade, for me. I think I should just give up on trying to get Varus. I don't experience this daily with other champs, just Varus only.

If enemies are building him as well then tough chance. Try to hold as many 2cost as possible to increase chances.

I have a feeling that its harder because most 2cost minions are kinda bad and people are not rolling for them and since pool is bigger because of that - chances are decreasing.

I believe that the shops are seeded, and not truly random. This might not be true, but the way the shops display really suggests it is. That was probably their solution to having so many champs in the game, because if it were truly random, no one could ever get even 2 star units let alone 3 star. Seeding means that if you choose champs that aren't prevalent in your seed, you just won't see them very often, even if no one else is taking.
