Forget items and the store, class/origin buffs shouldn't be based on chance either.

As has been said by a lot of people already, not getting any items and the store not providing build options feel terrible. But do you know what feels even worse? Getting a build and having it not do "the thing".

Having full glacial but not freezing anyone. Having full yordles but not dodging anything. Having full rangers but never getting the speed boost. Demon's not draining mana. Gunslingers not slinging. Pirates giving nothing. Blademasters not doubling/tripling attacks. Assassin's not critting.

The phrase "X percent chance to do the thing" should not exist anywhere in this game.

Yordles shouldn't get a chance to dodge, they should dodge every Xth attack taken. Rangers shouldn't get a chance to get a temporary buff, they should just get a faster attack speed. Demon's shouldn't have a chance to drain all of a target's mana, they should drain X mana each hit. So on and so forth.

None of the buffs should really on chance; on rng. They should have a reliable level of consistency and performance.

You noticed how most of the sought after builds (be it early or late) are the one's that don't rely on chance? Everybody trying to build noble, ninja, imperial, elemental. You noticed how the most ignored is the one with the lowest chance? I've never seen anyone besides myself build blademaster, and when I build it the only reason I do is because it's the only thing I can actually build, since nobody else is trying to, when every other build has competition.
