Add an EXP to Little legends that grows with getting 1st place.

I think the majority of the TFT community would enjoy being able to level up their legends with gameplay rather then just throwing $ at it.

They will until riot stops supporting it due to not generating enough money from little legends.

Realistically, the best thing for tft is to keep gameplay fully free and little legends fully paid content. Look at what happened with skins when riot moved away from fully paid content. The community just got greedier and greedier over time and expect more and more cosmetic content to be free. Giving the community free content paradoxically ended up being worse than simply keeping it behind a pay wall.

Little legends are a small enough cosmetic feature that I don't think most tft players care if they are free and the headache of trying to make them partially free is simply not worth the trade off.

what youre saying "add exp to little legends if you get first"

what riot reads "make it so we dont have to spent 50$ on a gamble to maybe get our little legend to 2*"

so yeah wont happen.

Honestly I would be very down even if it takes hundreds or about 1000 games, still saves you money and they could justify giving the River Spirit some upgrades too for the free players lol. If you paid 5$ and got a legend you should be able to actually level it if they want to reward progression. The mission system drops off at a certain point and then the only reason to play the mode is for fun or LP. SR doesn't have this problem. These things are not on the quality of a 1350 skin, they shouldn't have a similar price range. And that's assuming you roll well 3 times, which there's a very good chance you won't get what you want without more money.

I was disappointed that the second Beta event didn't give a Little Legends selection like the first did. I strongly disagree with Riot's choice to go with surprise mechanics instead of a straightforward "buy what you want" policy like the rest of the content they sell has.

If they had a system that you could pay varying price points ( $ for *, $$ for **, $$$ for ***) or had a gradient system such that you buy the base form of the Little Legend series you want, then grind wins (4th or better) to improve their tier (with a paid option to speed it up of course) I would be fine with it. I'm not opposed to spending a little RP to get what I want! But asking me to spend money on a slot machine with no guarantees of getting what I want is ridiculous.

The worst part of all is that it only takes a few people spending a lot of money to make this system worthwhile to Riot. Less than 1% of the population can whale on it and they'll turn fabulous profits for the investors. So even if most players aren't happy about it they can just plug their ears with the cash foisted upon them by people with gambling addictions and more money than sense.
