i keep getting gold the first few rounds while my teammates get items?
how is that fair?
my teammates got redemption and bloodthirster and i get a few gold coins ?

Welcome to hell. I've had my two lowest item games ever the last 24 hours - 1 item after wolves, 2 from Raptors. However, I managed to push into top 4 by outplaying some opponents and following what dropped. It's WAY harder, and 1st is only a pipedream, but it's not a guaranteed loss. Still aggravating though.
Getting gold early is incredibly strong. I am far more likely to win a game i got the 3 gold and 1 item then 3 items early

Yeah there should probably be some more weighted RNG to prevent this from happening, I've had several games where I get gold from all 3 minion rounds and then from the Krug round as well, so I end up with only a single completed item and usually not even a good one. It makes the game a lot harder when that happens since items play such a huge role in what team comps you can reasonably run and can be the difference between a character being mediocre and a viable carry.
