Improvements to Twisted Treeline
When I looked at an overview of Twisted treeline's Map I sort of felt the Map's short coming's in numerous ways.
- The Outer turrets where closer together then the Inner turrets.
- Travel between inhibitor Turrets were very long.
- Altars felt useless in some cases and in some situations were ignored. You may just equate it to just Me or who ever just being bad, but on Summoners rift getting dragon or herald had clear and concise benefits.
With those issue's in mind you can view my very poorly drawn concept of what I think twisted treeline should maybe look like.
The Teleporter - One of the biggest problems when defending your Inhibitor towers is travel between them. By the time you walked from one to the other unless your a quick Guy, Your tower took a major amount of damage. Compare that to Summoner's rift where each inhib tower is close to each other unless they are the top on bottom ones. Introducing the Teleporter! Each base has two, the top Teleporter sends you bot and vice versa. If a champ goes into one, both in the base go into cool down. Say maybe a 120 second cooldown. With this, if Bases are being pressured on both ends, You can send your champ with the highest chance of defending there as quick as possible.
The Altars - Now right behind the wall near the nexus and walled off more. Also its effect is different. The Effect is now called the "Accel Boost", When obtained by a channel like in dominion. it gives the first person to channel it a visual buff. When That champ enters a lane with that buff, the lane's next 3 minion waves get a mini baron buff. A special note is that this buff is stronger if you use the enemies altar buff. The buff doesn't stack, so if you buff'ed a lane and then stole the enemies buff if just extends the duration but the waves at the point to which the second buff comes in get the extra boost.
Vilemaw Altar - Giant Spider's in the middle now.
