Note: This champion concept is extremely complicated and overloaded. This is merely an experimental idea.
Role: Ranged Assassin Jungler**

http://www.hiveworkshop.com/data/ratory-images/90/90225-5225b1fdb42274ca2dafd67cf7b96009.jpg Trip-Wire: Y'lissa lays down a trip-wire trap that is undetectable by enemies. The trap is laid down by a 2-step system, first cast plants the trap, then the second cast brings the wire to the desired location. Y'lissa can have up to 4 traps active, and stores up to 4 charges. Enemies that trip this wire are crippled and revealed.

The dart will continually reveal the target while gradually slowing them over 3 seconds. When 3 seconds transpire, the target will fall asleep for a short duration. The target will awaken if their ally approaches them, or if they are damaged in any way.

E: Hide-out/Preparation
http://www.hiveworkshop.com/data/ratory-images/59/59827-a612c6dd6dd9485005a6e5e4ba18034f.jpg Hide-Out: After a delay, Y'lissa builds a camouflaged "hide-out" above the target terrain. Y'lissa can enter this hide-out and gain vision over a large area. Y'lissa gains increased range for her abilities from the hide-out and gains a new abilities in place of her W and E. Issuing a move command will cause Y'lissa to jump out of her "Hide-out" in that direction. The hide-out lasts until it dies, can be attacked, and is revealed for 5 seconds when Y'lissa makes any offensive actions while in the hide-out.
Cooldown: 60/55/50/45/40 seconds Cost: 80 mana at all ranks Hide-Out Maximum HP: 5 hits Bonus Range: +300 Range
http://www.hiveworkshop.com/data/ratory-images/83/83999-ada66583f7a1fc70d157b5ee70d3950b.jpg Preparation: Y'lissa prepares for her next kill. She gains a stack of "Anticipation" every second up to a maximum of 3 stacks. Each stack of "Anticipation" increases the damage of her next "Dead-Shot". If Y'lissa holds 3 stacks of "Anticipation" for too long (2 seconds), she will be silenced for 3 seconds and lose all stacks.
Explanation: Y'lissa gains stacks over 3 seconds. The stacks grant her bonus damage on her next "Dead-Shot". If she holds the maximum stacks for too long, she loses all stacks and is silenced for 3 seconds. (she waited too long basically.)
Cooldown: 20 seconds Cost: 50 mana at all ranks Damage per stack: 15%/20%/25%/30%/35%
http://www.hiveworkshop.com/data/ratory-images/100/100609-e147ce40fa50f326eab29ae1856d8ebc.jpg R: Put 'Em Down Y'lissa enters a "sniper trance". For the next 10 seconds, Y'lissa has "Sniper Vision" and can only see down a straight line that follows your cursor. By holding down the "R" key Y'lissa's vision will get progressively smaller as if aiming down the sight, and when she channels for a full 1.5 seconds, she fires down the line-of-sight, dealing missing health damage to all enemies caught in the line-of-sight. If the "R" key is released during a channel, then the channel will reverse back to 0 seconds.
Explanation: Channel for 10 seconds. Your cursor is your "line-of-shot". Channel for a full 1.5 seconds to fire. Channeling reduces your sight even further until you fire the bullet. You can cancel mid-channel to return back to full-vision and cancel the shot. This is meant to emphasize choosing the right moment and target to shoot.
Cooldown: 120/100/80 seconds Cost: 100 mana at all ranks Damage: 150/250/350 (+100% of bonus AD) (+20/35/50% of target's missing health)
Design Insight: Y'lissa is an Ranged Assassin Jungler hybrid, like Kindred (but not really). She is a patient hunter who waits for her victims to come into unfamiliar territory. Much like a big-game hunter, Y'lissa waits in her hide-out for the perfect shot. However, due to the nature of the game, she needs to jungle effectively. This is why I've loaded her passive with so much. In order for Y'lissa to remain the silent sniper that she is, I had to give her a way to clear the jungle. The only way I could think of was giving her a unique item.
Y'lissa needs to set up her traps carefully, covering all angles possible. This way, she can sit comfortably in her hideout while she lands a tracking dart, prepares for the shot, and executes her target. The hide-out is relatively easy to place. Place in in the central sector of the jungle area, so that Y'lissa has escape options, multiple angles, and a sight advantage. Before you set up your hide-out, you must first place down your traps. You should have all 4 charges ready when you do this, that way you can save time in setting up. Place your traps in paths that champions are likely to take. When they trip the trap, it should be easy to land a tracking dart, and then even easier to land a "Dead-Shot", or even an ultimate. This is the general play-style of Y'lissa, she's supposed to be a sort of counter-jungling assassin.
However, outside the jungle, Y'lissa still has a few options. Setting up a hide-out in lane can allow her to easily poke at enemies from afar, useful for sieging or defending. She can even place trip-wires in bushes for easy opportunities to land a "dead-shot". When enemies get to close, she can utilize her unique jungle item "Orthrus" to push them away. Paired with the chilling smite upgrade, this can be fairly useful as a disengage tool.
During teamfights, Y'lissa's role is not as clearly defined. She is similar to Jhin in that she should stay far behind the front line and deal as much damage as possible. However, due to Y'lissa's scalings and playstyle, she should not be building crit. She should have plenty of lethality and attack damage to make the most of her massive burst damage. This makes her more of a back-line assassin who must keep a close eye on her positioning in order to maintain usefulness for her team.
