This "Carapace" takes reduced damage and reduces the effects of crowd control. However, when the carapace is broken, Kabuto will be slowed and will take additional damage for 3 seconds with diminishing effects. Once the carapace is broken, it will go on a 30 second cooldown.

Upon landing, Kabuto thrusts his spear forward, dealing physical damage to all targets in a straight line. If Kabuto collides with an enemy champion, he will stop and knock them back a short distance in the direction he was traveling while still dealing damage in front of him.

Mana Cost: 35/40/45/50/55 mana Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds Damage: 60/100/140/180/220 (+50% of bonus AD)

Kabuto will heal for every champion hit.

Passive: Kabuto's basic abilities have their cooldown reduced by 5%/6%/8%/9%/10% every time Kabuto is hit by an enemy champion.

Mana Cost: 35 at all ranks Cooldown: 8/7/6/5/4 seconds Bonus Damage: 40/60/90/120/150 (+25% of bonus AD) Heal per target: 2%/2.75%/3.5%/4.25%/5% of missing health (maximum of 10%/13.75%/17.5%/21.25%/25% of maximum health)

If Kabuto casts "Piercing Charge" into the wall, he will carry the wall with him, stunning and dealing bonus physical damage to any enemy champion he collides with. Enemies near the primary target are also stunned, but not dealt bonus physical damage.

If Kabuto lands in a bush, then he will create a cloud of debris that will obscure enemy vision from outside the cloud. The cloud lasts 3 seconds. If Kabuto lands on the basic ground, then he will create a "Wall of Kabuto" upon landing. If Kabuto lands within the river, he will create a wave that travels forward and briefly knocks up enemies.

Design Insight: Kabuto is a very dive-heavy champion. He has an explosive combat style that I think will make him enjoyable to play. I initially was looking for a beetle champion, and then I happened upon this artwork on deviant art. It sort of gave me a bit of inspiration. The large shoulders gave me the idea of the Q, which he would charge into someone while blocking projectiles. Overall, I just wanted to make a samurai-beetle.

Playstyle/combos:

Kabuto is a dive fighter. I want people to focus more on the offensive side of things rather than defensive, so I gave Kabuto innate defensive tools to help mitigate damage. Kabuto's passive allows him to sustain the brunt of the damage that normal dive fighters will face. However, it is up to the player to avoid damage by using "Wall of Kabuto" or his "Piercing Charge" to negate high-priority spells. Once Kabuto is in a fight, his goal is to disrupt the carry. He has a large amount of burst damage with his Q,E combo, so this shouldn't be hard. However, once Kabuto has dealt his initial combo, he must utilize his W to remain out of the way and to sustain throughout the fight.

Standard Combo: E,Q,W, AA This combo is Kabuto's basic combo, which exhausts all of his tools. First, you spawn a wall to block initial spell casts, Q into the wall/ into the target to stun, the roll away and attack attack.

Lane Harass Combo: Q,W,AA This combo should be used in lane to harass. It has a good initiate and disengage. You Q into the target to knock them back and guarantee the damage from Q, then roll away and auto attack for free damage and a heal. You can follow this up with a Kabuto wall if your opponent tries to pursue you.

All-In Combo: R, E, Q, W, AA This combo is used to initiate a teamfight or enter one. Your ultimate is a great gap-closer. If you use this on normal ground, then you can exempt the E from this ability. You dive in, the put up a wall to block any initial projectiles, then Q into your target (preferably a squishy), then roll to dodge anything, and then auto attack to sustain yourself. By the time you finish your combo, you should have taken enough damage to reset your basic cooldowns so you can continue your standard combos.

Thanks for reading guys! It's a bit late, so I'll finish up this concept later! Please leave an upvote, thank you!
