This character is heavy inspired by the Warhammer 40k Terminator
I want to create a special team for Noxus almost like the "Dauntless Vanguard" that Demacia has, this is my first member of the "Black Marauders".
Fortis, the Iron Guard "Fortis" is the Latin word for "STRONG"
Role: Tank
Fortis is the captain of Noxian battle squad called the "Black Marauders". This battle squad stands as the front of the Noxian army, first into battle, and last to come out. Forged from the streets of Noxus, is the captain of this legion. Fortis is a battle-hardened veteran of war. He has seen the ends of many battles, most of them with him at the finish. Fortis knows not much of his parents... as he was traded to the Noxian army in turn for a few silver coins by his parents. Fortis would go on to be raised by his Noxian superiors, earning his niche in the heart of battle. He knows nothing but battle. Fortis enters the league following his commander, Darius, into battle.
Fortis knows the importance of defense in a battle. In fact, he reveres it as the foremost importance of his strategies. He is clad in heavy armor, forged from cold iron. Fortis overpowers his enemies, breaking their defenses with his powerful hammer. He deems this the most effective way to battle his opponents. If they have no defenses, then they cannot possibly defeat you.

Passive: Heavy Armor Fortis is heavily clad in armor and gains an additional 25% bonus armor. However, this armor hinders his movements! Fortis loses a constant 10% movement speed.

Fortis brings down his mighty hammer onto his enemy, causing his next basic attack to deal bonus damage to and **around his target **while slowing all enemies affected for 3 seconds. The radius of this ability is increased by Fortis' bonus armor.
W: Break their Ranks! Mana Cost: 70 mana at all ranks Cooldown: 20/18/16/15/14 seconds Stun Duration: 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds
Fortis **charges **forward a fixed distance, the first enemy champion that Fortis comes into contact with will be stunned. Additionally, Fortis can cast "Noxian Might" during this time, causing Fortis to stop the charge **early **and perform "Noxian Might", the stun will be dealt in the affected area instead.
Every level increases the rate of travel that Fortis can accomplish during the charge. Acceleration Rate Increase: 10%/15%/20%/25% (4 ranks because it increases after the 1st rank)
E: Unbreakable Mana Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 mana Cooldown: 20 seconds Damage Reduction (reduced damage taken from front): 10%/20%/30%/40%/50% Damage Amplification (increased damage taken from behind): 5%/10%/15%/20%/25% Duration: 5/6/7/8/9/10 seconds
Fortis fortifies himself and takes **less **damage from his front, while taking **more **damage from **behind **for a duration.
While active, an indicator around Fortis will appear, distinguishing front from behind.

Fortis dons the armor of his mentor gaining bonus armor and a shield equal to 25% of his maximum health, additionally Fortis gains a newfound strength, shredding the armor of whomever he deals damage to.
Overview: Fortis is a strong armor-based tank who has been given the ability to shred the armor of his foes. In a way, he is a tank, who counters tanks. This is a similar role to Vi, however he is not given the free mobility that Vi offers. Instead, he is a slow-moving fortress who can take a battle head on!
His Q stands as his main damage ability, when paired with "Ice Gauntlet" the effects of this ability can be very punishing. The area that is affected is increased by Fortis' armor, and with his passive and ultimate... a high amount of armor is easy to achieve! The radius that this ability will cover is great, however it does not increase the damage itself, only the area that it covers. So, this requires some amount of AD items to be built in conjunction to the natural build path of armor that Fortis requires.
Fortis' W is his main initiation and crowd control ability. The purpose of this ability is to give Fortis a small amount of mobility, and to solidify his place as a juggernaut. To combat the loss of movement speed from his passive, Fortis must effectively utilize and land this ability in order to fight his enemies. This is an easy to dodge ability (from what we see of Sion's ult) and allows for a great amount of counter play. When paired with Fortis' Q, this ability will allow him to spread his stun to multiple targets and makes his gameplay a little more dynamic.
Fortis' E is the tool that establishes Fortis' place as a tank. He leads the battle from the front lines, so by activating his E, he will mitigate a lot of damage as he charges into battle with his W. Fortis must be able to keep all his enemies in front of him in order to prevent his enemies from attack him from behind. This wont be hard for Fortis while he attacks a single target (because attacking automatically focuses the front of your champion onto your selected opponent), however, when dealing with multiple targets, it is a quite a difficulty keeping everyone in front of you.
Fortis' R is his amazing steroid that allows him to counter other tanks and fight on during a battle. This ability should be activated prior to initiating into a fight with his W. The bonus armor is incredibly effective, and the bonus shield will allow him to tank on even during an all-out teamfight. Additionally, with the AoE based "Noxian Might", he can shred the armor of multiple targets with ease! This armor shred makes Fortis extremely valuable during teamfights because he indirectly increases the AD damage that his team deals by shredding armor. With the added benefit of "Black Cleaver" Fortis can shred considerable amounts of armor in a short period of time.
Weakness: Fortis is armor based! AP damage will rip him a new one! Much like Malphite, Fortis takes a considerable amount of damage from AP casters, however... if itemized correctly Fortis will stand a chance against a mage. True damage also wrecks him, just like any other tank is by true damage.
Fortis' W is easily counterplayed and dodged, making it a hard skillshot to land.
Fortis' E causes him to take additional from behind, making him extremely vulnerable to champions with high mobility.
Fortis is very slow, as he is dealt a movement penalty from his passive. Kiting is an extremely effective way of countering Fortis.
