Sakura, the One Raised by the Trees

Sakura was a little lost yordle that was stolen by bandits, but they were not the brightest as they did this horrific act in one of the most magic potent forests within Ionia. The trees seen what the wicked humans were trying to do, so they grew their roots to trip the criminals and then suffocated them to death with their branches.

Seeing the little yordle, one of the elder trees of the forest took her in to take care of and raise, forming a little house from inside him to shelter the little yordle and the fruit bearing trees nearby to feed her when she was hungry. By living inside of a tree imbued with magic, she gained the ability to use magic herself, being trained on how to properly use it and a tree forming two small blades that is flooded with magic for her own self defense and able to help defend the forest by eliminating outside threats.

How the little yordle got her name was due to her absorbing magic and eating the fruit of these trees, which changed her fur to be a very light pink, like a cherry blossom so she got the name Sakura naturally because of this interaction. Of course her fur only changed colour due to being so young, now that she is older it will forever stay as its current light pink colour.


Sakura is a highly mobile assassin-like, running around and swinging on vines to slice up enemies with low damaging attacks, but a lot of them.

Though her damage output is on the lower side, she makes up for it with her utility. Her ultimate being the best for this as it can either allow for her to make her team tankier, cut off an escape route from her target, or just use it as a massive nuke.

Wild Yordle (Passive):

Sakura picks up speed running in the same direction for 1.5 seconds, gaining up to 30%(+5% per 100AP) total movement speed. Taking harsh turns resets Sakura's momentum to zero.

At maximum momentum, Sakura automatically attacks nearby enemies without stopping her movement at all, damaging in an area. Additionally, Sakura's attack speed cap is increased to 5.0 while at maximum moment or during Vine Swing.

Sakura deals 15(+15%AP) bonus magic damage on hit and gains (+10%AP) bonus attack speed.

Vine Swing (Q):

Static Cooldown: 0.25 second; Cost: 1 Vine; Range: 2000 units

Sakura throws out a vine in the target direction, colliding with terrain and causing her to swing 90 degrees in the direction she is facing in and based on where the vine attached to. Afterward, Sakura gains maximum momentum.

Sakura automatically attacks enemies near her while swinging.

Throwing out another vine and having it attach to terrain while in mid-swing will end the current swing.

Passive: Sakura stores a vine every 20/17/14/11/8 seconds, up to a maximum of 2 at a time.

Magic Blades (W):

Cooldown: 15/13.5/12/10.5/9 seconds; Range: 450 units / 120 degrees

Sakura imbues her blades with magic in the target direction in a cone, dealing 40/70/100/130/160(+120%AP) magic damage while silencing and disarming enemies for 1.5 seconds.

Forest of Illusion (E):

Cooldown: 15/13.5/12/10.5/9 seconds

While moving, Sakura turns invisible for 3 seconds and creates an identical illusion of herself that continues moving in the same direction and performing a fake version of Vine Swing when applicable.

The illusion reveals a large area around it.

Ionian Fruit (R):

Cooldown: 80/50/20 seconds; Range: Global; Radius: 300 / 600 units

Sakura grows a giant fruit at the target location for 8 seconds, acting as impassable terrain for enemies. Allies and Sakura inside the fruit gain 15/20/25%(+5% per 100AP) damage reduction and heal for 20/50/80(+20%AP) health per second.

If Sakura collides with the Ionian Fruit during a Vine Swing or at maximum momentum, then she kicks the fruit up to 1200 range in the target direction, exploding on contact against the ground, an enemy champion, epic monster, or terrain to deal 250/350/450(+150%AP) magic damage.

Seems cool, although the passive on the W just seems like stealing from Pyke...

Overall, pretty decent. 7/10
