Pantheon Ult needs reworking.

Is there any way we can rework Pantheons Ult and cut the damage down significantly enough to where we can lose the giant bullseye? It's a dead give away and it makes the Ult simply a mode of transportation. If we cut the damage down to 200/400/550 we can lose the ring and make his Ult viable again. Or can someone tell me a good way to keep people from running away from my giant "I'm coming to get you" ring?!

Put it behind them so it's run into you team or run into you

and then they will add the TahmKench kench thing, which does the same thing, it pings the enemy to where you ARE GOING, the ring is supposed to be used ahead of time, and it is reduced when done in a bush, so food for thought there.

Use it after one of the teams engaged so you land on the entire battlefield, put it so they are on the front rim toward your allies so they have to either run into your allies to avoid it or through he whole thing.

Admittedly because of movement creep it has gotten a little harder to land well, but just practice and positioning and you should be able to either make the enemy blow flashes or take some damage. Both are wins.

Pantheon is actually balanced AROUND enemies having some time to predict his location, as he can easily burst down squishy characters that he catches EVEN IF THE ULT MISSES THEM.

As such, you'd either need to nerf his Q/W/E damage enough that targets escape him easily when he doesn't hit his ult, or accept the warning timer.

Personally I find it a fantastic tool once you get used to it -- it's less an initiation tool and more a follow-up to existing initiation (your Amumu ulted and your Support Zyra has ult ready to go? Dive in for the finish!). More than either of those it's a VERY powerful zoning tool. If you're going to gank a lane, ult in behind the target to force them to make a really tough decision: escape through your ult to the tower, probably taking the full ult damage and risking Pantheon diving them, or run to the side, possibly into your teammates, and probably getting flanked between you and them.

It can easily win teamfights: not due to its DAMAGE, but due to the zoning potential and fear the ability can inspire in a foe.
