Wukongs Staff

So here's my thought. What if Wukong got his own unique starting item called Doran's Staff. I mean, his staff was created by Doran right?! So what if Doran's Staff was like his own personal starting item? It could give health and attack damage like Doran's Blade, but instead of lifesteal it returns mana like Doran's Ring. Or just whatever. Maybe it can increase damage to minions or something! What could Doran's Staff do differently than the blade, ring, and shield?

This is what I immediately thought of and I agree.

However, this could also work for Rengar's passive.(Tons of other champs too but I liked rengar best and I don't even play him) Could be given as an actual jungle item. that upgraded. This would also relegate him to JG for easier balancing.

I've had that idea before too, however I like the idea more on Wukong! Call me crazy xD

His staff was made by Doran? Where did that come from?

it's in the lore somewhere. I know I've seen it before. He made it before whatever accident happened that limits him from making amazing things like that staff again so now he's stuck only able to make items like the blade, ring, and shield.

Wukongs lore. As explained by the other guy xD

Ah. It's been a while. I need to reread the lore, I guess.

There's no reason for this though. Waking should start Corrupting Potion or Longswird and pots. He doesn't need a specific item, especially one with no impact. And if they made it so it upgrades, they would have to nerf other parts of him, and we don't need that.

Well, don't you suppose that if the item was required that it would neutralize the buff by creating a slight handicap as far as other item choices? He wouldn't necessarily have to be nerfed!

Why should this be implemented though? I honestly cannot see a reason other than you think it would be neat.

It'd be REALLY neat!

it would have to be upgradeable or give enough stats that it justifies losing an item slot. or else those stats would be better off by being innate or part of his passive.

He does have his own starting Doran staff. It's an active that applies armor shred over 3 seconds...
