Anyone feel like trying to make some new items?

I'm not sure how many of you remember Black Market Brawlers, but the idea around that mode was that it used special, never before seen items in the shop. Some of those items have been added into the game, and one rather early on (Hi item 3742 )

However, with dead man's and lost chapter being in the normal game, we may have to have a few new items tossed into the market. Hell, an entire set of new items would be amazing, but one can only dream.

So, let's brainstorm! I'll start off with a single item, for now.

Tornado Blade Build path: item 3101 + item 1043 + item 1036 +150 gold (total cost: 2600) Stats: 20 AD, 70% attack speed Unique: 10% Cooldown Reduction, 15 bonus physical damage on hit. UNIQUE Active: Gain +50% movement speed, decaying over 1 second (updated from 2 seconds). Removes all slows when activated.

No idea where to go on this one; all I know is that it would be nice to have an attack speed item that wasn't based on crit or lifesteal (as nice as you are item 3153 , you're kind of expensive and pretty much for tank hunting)

Archmage's Scroll Build path: item 1058 + item 3802 +item 1027 +1000 gold (total cost: 3500) Stats: 100 AP, 300(from 500) mana Unique passive: Upon leveling up, restore 20% of mana over 3 seconds. Unique passive: Increase maximum mana by 25%

Not the best name, probably. Either way, an item that would work well with champions dedicated to having an immense mana pool. It would probably be a nightmare to balance and picked up quite often, but hey. (The mana reduction from 500 was taking into account that it amplifies all mana.)

War Banner Build path: item 3105 + item 3082 + item 1011 +500 gold (total cost: 4000) Stats: 600 health (from 650), 100% base health regen, 40 armor, 20 Magic Resist (from 30) Unique Passive: Cold Steel: When hit by basic attacks, reduce the attacker's attack speed by 15% for 1 second Unique Aura: Legion: Grant nearby allies 10 magic resist. Unique Aura: All nearby allies deal an additional 10% damage (reduced from 15%)

An item built more for supports and tanks for the end game; increasing the damage dealt of allies nearby (this includes minions!) while moving them into the front line more easily.

(I apologize for the terrible concepts, since they'll likely be broken)

From GinoSoldier, say hello to his line of AD support items! They rely on autoattacks to gain the gold bonus rather than just spell hits.

(X Seconds cooldown)"

No item is too niche! Let's try to get as many item concepts as we can rolling around people's heads!

Nice ideas, War hammer seems cool af and would be a must pick for siege champs (Kled Leona Ekko ) and is especially cool being a hybrid defense item, but if anything Archmage's Scroll would be a nightmare on Ryze and whoever builds item 3007 with it, but considering the cost this should be fine in cases other than Ryze. The same problem would run with KogMaw with Bloodrazor and Tornado Blade aka 2016 Zephyr.

Alright, enough criticism, my turn. Made these up on the spot.

Thieving Hand of Rau (Broken Af)

item 3801+item 1056+item 3067+1150 gold (3000) 450 health, 50% base health regen, 20ap, 50% base mana regen Unique Passive: +10% Cooldown Reduction Unique Passive: Restores 10 mana upon killing a unit. Unique Active: Steal any item from an enemy champion in return giving that champion the Thieving Hand of Rau with a quarter of its stats (Items like item 3599are unaffected item 3198 would be reverted to the 1st form, bye bye augments). ** Bonfire Boots**

item 1001 +10% Magic Penetration Unique Passive -Enhanced Movement: +45 movement speed Unique Passive: Leave a trail that deals 20 magic damage (+15% of total AP) over time for the next 3.5 seconds over the area traveled from the past 4 seconds.

Tornado Blade is... pointless. I don't know why any champion would want to buy it.

Archmage's Scroll is just a bastardized item 3003, with item 3802 instead of a item 3070. I think its concept is pointless as well, considering the fact that we already have mana+cdr item 3165, mana+health item 3027 and mana+tons of AP item 3003.

War Banner is all over the place. It has no clear purpose, because it gives both selfish stats and utility for the team. It's also way too expensive (its price is even higher than item 3078!).

Some people (me included, obviously enough) kind of regret that there isn't dedicated AD Support itemization. This is my take on some items that could make it work.

Firstly, the gold generation item. It has to promote skirmishing but most importantly discourage CSing. Ideally, the Spellthief's line does exactly that for AP but i'm thinking something slightly different. Following the same price ranges as the other money items, something like this may be reasonable. Please note that i have no bloody idea how to calculate individual stat worth and therefore am doing whatever numbers are here on hunch alone. All items here are meant to cost around or below 2500 gold, befitting a Support's usual income.

You may only be in possession of 1 Gold Income item. Unique Active; Bountyhunter; Grant self and all nearby champions within X range +X0 AD and a X0% Slow on all autoattacks on-hit for X seconds. This provides safety (range) for squishy AD champions while giving just not enough AD to attract actual carries, and rewarding melee champions for going in. It also provides AD champions with (usually) little in means of CC an easier way to gain assists with it's active, similarly to the Talisman of Ascension. The gold amounts given here are meant to match Coin and Spellthief's respective gold incomes, however unlike Frost Queen's Claim which loses it, i feel like the anti-farming mechanism must remain even on the high tier item because otherwise ADCs may rush it for extra income. A variant that combines with the Sightstone would also be implemented.

Next, as Tank Supports and moreso AP supports have a selection of handy items that have lower cost and lower efficiency than regular items.

A Frozen Mallet variant may be redundant with the Bounty Hunter's Lens if it was ever a thing, but Black Cleaver and Wit's End variants for armor and MR shredding purposes could serve an AD Support well. A variant of Runaan's hurricane for extra procs on ranged would be welcome. An AD/Armor of low cost and efficiency for melee could prove useful, possibly a weaker Hydra variant that would spread the on-hit procs of the other items. I would also expect melee champions using this to build halfway tank, because they're melee.

Chipping Edge; +30 AD +10 Armor Pen. Unique Passive; UNIQUE (would gain a name and share it with Black Cleaver): Dealing physical damage to an enemy champion Cleaves them, reducing their armor by X% for X seconds, stacking up to X times for a maximum of X0%.

Caster's Bane; +30 AD +30% AS +25 MR Unique Passive; UNIQUE (would gain a name and share it with Wit's End): Basic attacks (on-hit) grant +X magic resistance to the both you and the nearest allied champion (to promote staying close to the team rather than going off) and reduce the target's magic resistance by X for X seconds. Stacks up to X times for a total of +X magic resistance and X magic resistance reduction.

Quadshot Bow; +30% AS +10% MS +10% CDR Unique Passive; Four from One; Basic Attacks now also hit up to three additionnal targets within range whenever possible (functions similarly to Runaan's), dividing your damage in as many shots as are fired. (To further discourage ADCs from abusing the on-hit spread themselves, damage should be lowered in exchange. The value of the individual shots could be upped if it made the item too weak) On-hit effects are applied to all targets. Ranged Only.

Craven Hydra; +30 AD +150 Health +50% Health Regeneration +10% CDR UNIQUE – CLEAVE: Basic attacks spread all on-hit effects within a large radius. (400 range.) Melee Only. UNIQUE – CRESCENT: Procs all on-hit effects in a large radius around you. (10 second cooldown) (400 range). Melee Only.

Frozen Cudgel; +20 AD +200 Health +25 Armor UNIQUE – ICY: Basic attacks (on-hit) apply a Slow icon X0% slow to your target for X seconds, refreshing with every hit.

These would pretty much sum up everything.

With items like these, playing with on-hit effects to aid the team and earn their assists in tow, I believe several AD champions could make themselves a niche as legitimate Supports. Opinions and thoughts? I'm especially worried about the Frozen Cudgel being potentially too strong, there's a reason Mallet costs as much as it does.

This is the new item idea I have:

Soul Protector Build Path: item 1057item 3057item 1031item 1028 + 30 gold = 3000 gold +45 Armor +45 Magic Resist +250 Mana +250 Health

Unique Passive: Spellguard: After using an ability, you gain a shield that protect you for 75-400 damage (based on champion max HP). The shield lasts for 1.5s (1.8s cooldown)

Trio Blade item 1038item 3101item 3057 + 300 gold = 3750 +33 Damage +33% Attack Speed +150 Mana +15% Cooldown Reduction

Unique Passive: Spellblade: After using an ability, your three next basic attacks within 3 seconds deal bonus physical (first hit)/magic (second hit)/true damage (third hit) equal to 33% base attack damage on hit (6 seconds cooldown).

No idea how good/bad this will be because I don't play much.

Holds up to 4 charges that refill upon visiting the shop. This can be used even at full health and/or mana. Touch of Corruption: Damaging spells and attacks burn enemy units for 18-39 (+9% AP) magic damage over 3 seconds. (Half Damage for Area of Effect or Damage Over Time spells. Damage increases with champion level).

Hunter's Pride item 2032 + item 1001 + item 2033 + 850 Gold + 20 Monster Kills = 2050 Gold + 20 Monster Kills +30 Movement Speed UNIQUE Passive: Killing a large monster restores 100 Health and 50 Mana over 5 seconds. UNIQUE Active- Refillable Potion: Consumes a charge to restore 100 Health and 60 Mana over 12 seconds and grants Touch of the Wild during that time. Holds up to 4 charges that refill upon visiting the shop. This can be used even at full health and/or mana. Touch of the Wild: Damaging spells and attacks against neutral monsters burn them for 3% of their max health over 3 seconds. (Half Damage for Damage Over Time spells.) If a large monster is killed while under this effect, their Smite Bonus will be stored. Upon using Hunter's Pride's active again, the stored Smite Bonus will be unleashed.

I like the war banner item; but not the last 3 items, carrys have negligible issues farming (as long as they're paying attention) and thus shouldn't need gold generating items. Anyway I'll craft a handful of items for kicks too; obviously just outlines to ideas, probably need tweaking if actually added.

Unique Passive - Wind's Fury: When basic attacking, bolts are fired at up to two enemies near the target, each dealing (25% AD) Physical Damage and applying on-hit effects.

Just a little something for those Runaan's users who don't care about critical strikes. Kayle, sometimes Teemo, and possibly Kindred come to mind (as does Kog, but this item would probably be OP simply because Kog exists...)

_An item that auto-attacking tanks (Shen, Tahm, and Nautilus come to mind) may like if they don't particularly need the MR from Wit's End. Kind of a dueling-oriented version of Titanic Hydra._

Trade Knife (350g) (Can only buy once) +7 Attack Damage Unique Passive: Auto-attacking a champion grants +15 attack and +10% movement speed until out of combat. This can occur 3 times until disabling this passive.
