Short When Viktor's ideas poured across the underworld of Zaun, filling people's minds with the ideas of the ideals of metal over flesh, some took this practice far too far. Some went past simply replacing their own flesh with metal. Some went past simply seeing others who disagree with them as misguided. Glixis, a man who sees flesh as an infection, is no longer human. He used to be a man of flesh, but now he is something different. His body is warped into a horrific monstrosity where only the bare essentials are kept and the rest are replaced with harsh iron constructs. However, he has gone so far that his new body requires a new form of life force. He seeks not blood or some other ethereal life force. He seeks mana. The mana inherent in the world is what he desires to consume and make flow through his mind. He hunts down people of flesh, harvesting their bodies not to create an army of machines like him nor to kill what he sees as the misguided. No. He hunts them down to siphon the mana of their bodies and drain the secrets from their brains.

Long Born in the Sump Level of Zaun, Glixis was someone who craved brilliance. Whenever a new incredible ideas was birthed in the depths of Zaun, he clung to it and sought to create his own version of it. Ideals. Machines. Magic. He loves tinkering with other's ideas and making them his own. Unfortunately, however, he was poor. His family was expected to die before the age of 30, and those who survived were seen as lucky stragglers that were often killed by the rogues who dwell in the darkest corners of the city. Glixis hated this fact. He sought to escape the monetary prison his family was confined in, and he believed nothing could stop him. Unfortunately, he believed this zealously. One day, a man named Viktor rose to fame in Zaun and shared with the city's residents a glorious idea of metal over flesh. Never before had Glixis been so attracted to an idea, yet to him it was so simple. Flesh was weak. Metal was strong. Metal could be changed to what you wished it to be. With the proper work, one could be whatever they wanted... or whatever they needed to be.

On a stormy night, a mysterious figure was seen escaping from Chem-Baron Petrok Grime's establishments. Glixis had broken into the Chem-Baron's house using his scraped together hextech arms, and killed several of his men. His raid yielded great treasures that would change Glixis forever. The next day, Glixis emerged... a monster. A horror of flesh and machine that had no human features other than the vague shape of one. A new urban legend was born in Zaun, only this one was real. The following days, famous Zaun residents found their machines drained of hextech energy. They would not function. This lead to many outrages that caused many purchasers to demand refunds, inciting many riots in the streets. Just as the chaos began to get bloody, a horrific figure appeared on the rooftops above and let loose a horrific screech that nearly shattered the minds of those below. All feel silent and looked at the monstrosity that looked down upon them from above. Despite its lack of eyes, all could feel it staring at them, hungering for something they had.

The night before the riots, Glixis made a terrifying discovery in his own makeshift laboratory. Mana, a substance found in the wilds throughout Runeterra, wasn't only something found in the wilds. In fact, it could be found in something that lived all across the planet: humans. More specifically, their brains held small amounts of mana. The minds of a normal citizen or a more physical warrior held only a small appetizer of mana. However, the minds of mages and ingenious inventors held a buffet of mana. Glixis salivated at this finding. He had finally found his way to power, all while fueling his own new body. The minds of man would fuel his rise to power, in an absolutely horrific literal manner.

The monster looked down at the rioting crowd below. It surged with mana, their brains ignited into a raging fury. It licked its... well it didn't have lips anymore. It gazed at them before letting out a terrifying screech, drawing their attention to it. A bizarre whirring filled the air, as if a powerful machine was powering up. It began to be incredibly high pitched, causing many of the citizens to cover their ears in pain. In a bright flash of blue, the eyes of the citizens began to be drained of light as mana flew out from their brains and into a device attached to Glixis's arm. His body glowed a sinister blue shade as he let out a malicious laugh at this rejuvenating feeling filling his body. This was true genius. This was true power. And it ended just as quickly as it began as a fierce beam of energy pierced into the device on his arm, obliterating it. He looked towards the source to see none other than Viktor, the one who inspired him to become what he was now. As a bag of mixed emotions filled Glixis's mind, Viktor took step back, visually repulsed at Glixis. Viktor spoke with a tone of disgust that sent anger through Glixis.

"If you think this is the evolution I desire, you are weak of the mind. You are not the future I seek. You are not a step ahead of those you have slain today. You are nothing but a monster of your own creation."

Glixis began to advance on Viktor, only to be sent flying by another blast of energy from the third hand hovering out from Viktor's shoulder. Injured significantly, Glixis escaped into the depths of Zaun, a thick feeling of betrayal hovering over him. His mind broke. He thought he had advanced into the being that Viktor saw as ideal. Yet, his inspiration had just almost sent him into the afterlife. The taste of mana still dwelt in Glixis's body. He hungered for more. He wanted more. He needed more. Disappearing into the depths of Zaun, Glixis plotted his next move.

All healing Glixis takes restores his mana instead. Mana Siphon- Glixis regains 10/15/20/25% of all damage he deals as mana, reduced in effectiveness by 50% for basic attacks against enemy minions and monsters. Levels: 1/6/11/16

Ability 1- Magic Negation Glixis channels onto the targeted enemy champion for the next 2 seconds, dealing 35/50/65/80/95 (+30% AP) magic damage each second and slowing them by 10/15/20/25/30%. If the target would cast a non-ultimate ability while Glixis is channeling onto them with this ability, instead Glixis is interrupted, the ability is never cast, and that ability goes on a 50/45/40/35/30% reduced cool down. Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 mana Cool Down: 10/9.5/9/8.5/8 seconds (beings after channel is interrupted or finished) Range: 650 Leash Range: 850

Ability 2- Mind Crush Glixis fires a bolt of hextech energy in the target direction, dealing 75/115/155/195/235 (+60% AP) magic damage to the first enemy champion hit and applying Madness to them for 6 seconds. Enemies with Madness gain a stack of Insanity every time they attempt to cast an ability while affected by Madness. Upon gaining 3 stacks of Insanity, all stacks of Insanity and the Madness debuff will be consumed to deal 25/35/45/55/65 (+20% AP) magic damage to the target and stun them for 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5 seconds. Cost: 70/75/80/85/90 mana Cool Down: 10/9.5/9/8.5/8 seconds Range: 1200 Projectile Speed: 900

Ability 3- Arcane Overclock Passive: Whenever Glixis or another champion near Glixis attempts to cast an ability, he gains a stack of Meltdown. Upon gaining 10 stacks of Meltdown, Glixis releases a pulse of arcane energy from himself, dealing 90/130/170/210/250 (+50% AP) magic damage and silencing nearby enemies for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 second(s). Active: For the next 7.5 seconds, the amount of mana Glixis regains from his passive for dealing damage is increased to 40/50/60/70/80% (+10% per 100 AP) (+25% per 1000 Bonus Mana). During this time, if Glixis deals damage to an enemy champion and then has at least 50% of his maximum mana, Glixis will become overclocked for the remaining duration of Arcane Overlock. While overclocked, Glixis deals 20/25/30/35/40% increased damage and his basic abilities have their cool downs halved and mana costs removed. When this ability ends, Glixis becomes Exhausted, causing him to be slowed by 20% and silenced for 4 seconds. Cost: 100 mana Cool Down: 50/42.5/35/27.5/20 seconds Passive Ability Cast Detection Range: 1250 Passive Pulse Range: 500

Ultimate- Grasp of the Exarch After channeling for 1.25 seconds with malicious laughter, Glixis fires a giant mechanical syringe from his mouth out in the target direction, attaching to the first enemy champion for 3 seconds and draining their essence into Glixis via tube over the duration. While attached to an enemy champion, that champion is silenced, has their attack speed reduced by 40/50/60%, is dealt 50/65/80 (+15% AP) true damage every 0.5 seconds, and cannot move further than 900 units away from Glixis, dragging them to that distance if they are further away. During this time, Glixis cannot move, attack, or cast abilities, items, or summoner spells. If the affected enemy champion dies during this time, the cool down of all of Glixis's abilities, including Grasp of the Exarch, are reset, and Glixis becomes immune to becoming Exhausted from Arcane Overlock for the next 10 seconds. Cost: 100/125/150 mana Cool Down: 170/130/90 seconds Range: 1500 Projectile Speed: 2500

DESIGN Glixis is an incredibly disruptive Battle Mage that can be played in a variety of positions depending on the needs of your team. He plays incredibly well into enemy teams that have a few members that rely heavily on casting spells, as his "Anti-Mage" kit allows him to disrupt enemy spell casting immensely. Enemy champions that rely on casting quick combos of abilities will be heavily impacted by Glixis arriving onto the Rift. In Top Lane, Glixis acts a potent counterpoint towards "All In Diver" champions that rely on unloading their entire kit in a quick flurry of abilities to kill their target. In Middle Lane, Glixis thrives as an AP Carry, inflicting notable damage to the enemy laner and dueling very well due to the single target nature of his kit. As a Support, Glixis offers his ADC a way to effectively disrupt the enemy Support, giving them breathing room to fight the enemy ADC. The true intended weakness of Glixis's kit is that he is very easily overwhelmed. If the enemy team focuses him down, not only will his single target abilities be of little use in fighting multiple enemies, but his health pool being connected to his mana pool means that all damage thrown his way causes him to be able to cast fewer and fewer abilities. When multiple enemy champions begin to damage him, Glixis will be forced to either retreat or seek reinforcements.

Thank you for reading my concept! Any constructive feedback is appreciated! The numbers are temporary and merely there to get a good idea of Glixis's intended strengths and weaknesses. Again, thank you.
