LORE https://cdnb.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/002/432/643/large/edward-delandre-high-lord-wolnir-artstation.jpg?1461675869 Deep within the underground vault previously guarded by the Chain Warden on the Blessed Isles, there rested a sarcophagus which contained the skeletal remains of the past legendary warrior known as Gulthis. Within his sarcophagus rested not only his soul, but the souls of the thousands that he defeated in battle which were bound to the blade he carried. Now that the Black Mist has taken control of the isles and have breached the vault, Gulthis has risen to fight once again, leading an army of skeletal warriors that rise in his wake. Those in Bilgewater have learned to fear the sound of rattling bones when the Black Mist comes to feast on their souls, and they are smart to do so. None have ever defeated Gulthis in combat and he died of old age, wishing for his remains to be protected by the wardens that resided over the Blessed Isles. With the Black Mist now corrupting his body, Gulthis leads his army to war. In the past, Gulthis was known across Runeterra as The Undefeated, for he had never lost a battle. While the battles he fought were truly legendary, they eventually became tedious to storytellers for they all were same story, different setting. Gulthis fought. Gulthis won. There was no variance in these tales. Therefore, most instead tell the tale of how he came across his legendary sword, Marrow-Thirster, and how it changed him forever. Marrow-Thirster was a blade made entirely of bone which had rested within a Shuriman tomb for centuries. Gulthis, born in Shurima himself, had heard of this blade since he was a small child, and now wished to obtain it himself so that none could question his might. Venturing down into the tomb, Gulthis faced many evil spirits but was able to endure long enough for him to reach the blade and vanquish them all with the blade itself, trapping their essence into the blade. He emerged from the tomb with the blade, beginning his conquest that day. However, Gulthis' closest allies noted a change in the great warrior the day he emerged from that tomb. His face was grimmer and his temper had worsened. He refused to marry, seeking battle over love. Gulthis continued to defeat any warrior who faced him, but he never took any joy in anything but the final act of the battle. He was noted to grin wickedly when he finally plunged Marrow-Thirster into the bones of those he killed. His addiction with the act horrified those close to him so much that, as he lay on his deathbed, those close to him made a deal with the Blessed Isles to send away his corrupted soul forever, wishing for even his spirit to never be near them again. As he took his last breath, he was placed into a sarcophagus and sent across the world to the Blessed Isles. Gulthis had wished to buried within the tomb he had taken Marrow-Thirster from, telling his followers that he wished to make sure no one but he himself would ever wield the blade. When the Black Mist resurrected the great warrior, his soul was far too powerful to corrupt and twist to insanity, for he was already his own kind of insane. When he glanced left and then right from his sarcophagus, he let out a booming roar at his followers not granting him his dying wish. He destroyed his sarcophagus and then looted various corrupted items from the vault surrounding him before exploding out to the surface in a hurricane of dark energy. He marched across the Shadow Isles, cutting down all who tried to stop him before he was eventually stopped by the waters surrounding the island. Once again, he let out a furious roar, swinging wildly at the sky. He knelt on the beach, furious with his undeath. He vowed that, when he had the chance, he would return to Shurima and kill all who resided there. The only way to make sure the descendants of those who wronged were dead was to kill every last human in Shurima. Only then would Gulthis and his blade be satisfied.

Lesser Skeletal Warriors act exactly like Skeletal Warriors, focusing down the Skeletal Warrior that spawned them's target until either their target dies or they die. LESSER SKELETAL WARRIOR STATS Health- 50 (+5 per level) (+2% bonus health) Armor- 3 (+1 per level) Magic Resist- 8 (+1 per level) Movement Speed- 375/390/405 Attack Damage- 4 (+1 per level) (+1/3/5% AD) Attack Speed- 1.0 Attack Range- 125 (Melee) Skeletal Warriors grant their killer 4 gold upon being killed and Lesser Skeletal Warriors grant their killer 2 gold upon being killed. Both Skeletal Warriors and Lesser Skeletal Warriors ignore unit collision. Levels: 1/7/13

Ability 1- By Death Be Undone Active: Gulthis' next basic attack within 6 seconds will cause him to plunge his sword into his target, causing his basic attack to critical strike and ignore 35/40/45/50/55% of his target's armor. If this kills the target, Gulthis is healed for 15/20/25/30/35% of the damage dealt. Cost: 35 mana Cool Down: 9/8.5/8/7.5/7 seconds

Ability 2- Lord of the Consumed Active: Gulthis' next three basic attacks gain 200 bonus attack range and will cause him to dash within 150 units of his target and slow them by 60% for 0.5 seconds. If Gulthis strikes the same target with all three attacks, the third attack will summon two Skeletal Warriors. Cost: 65 mana Cool Down: 14/13/12/11/10 seconds

Ability 3- Bone To Dust Active: Marrow-Thirster hungers for a meal, causing Gulthis to mark the target enemy champion for 3/3.5/4/4.5/5 seconds. During this time, every other basic attack against the target will summon a Skeletal Warrior instead of every fourth basic attack. However, during this time, Gulthis' basic attacks against the target will drain away 13/16/19/22/25 health. Cost: 55/60/65/70/75 mana Cool Down: 18 seconds Range: 500

For the next 12 seconds, all Skeletal Warriors and Lesser Skeletal Warriors are immune to crowd control and gain 15/20/25% increased movement speed. Gulthis himself is filled with hatred during this time, causing him to gain 25/35/45% increased movement speed, 40/55/70 Tenacity and 40/55/70% Slow Resistance, and ignore unit collision while moving towards the targeted enemy champion. Cost: 100 mana Cool Down: 125/100/75 seconds Range: 1250

GAMEPLAY PHILOSOPHY Gulthis is a relatively beginner friendly Juggernaut/Skirmisher hybrid, which by itself is a pretty scary role combination. He excels in duels by overwhelming his target with an army of undead skeletons while also having several built in mechanics that allow him to stick to his target and ignore their petty defenses. His Passive is his primary means of spawning Skeletal Warriors by allowing him to spawn a Skeletal Warrior once every 4th basic attack against the same enemy as well as gain a small boost in attack speed upon doing so. Skeletal Warriors act as great meat shields and a respectable source of damage that requires the enemy to kill them or be overwhelmed as the skeletons bring in more and more skeletons to kill them until it's just too much to handle anymore. Gulthis' Q is a great way of combating more durable targets by ignoring a large percentage of their armor and automatically spawning a Skeletal Warrior for him, which perform wonderfully against low DPS, high durability enemies. He can also use this ability as a way to regain health if he instead decides to use it to kill his target, which will usually be enemy minions. His W, Lord of the Consumed, gives him tremendous sticking power by allowing his basic attacks to both slow his target and give him a really short dash to them (think Illaoi W kind of boost, but a tiny bit further). If he uses this ability to focus down a target, he is rewarded by giving him two extra Skeletal Warriors to focus down his target. This further pushes Gulthis to duel his enemies instead of taking on multiple of them at once. His E, Bone to Dust, is a risky move that he can take to grant him more power at the cost of a moderate to large amount of health depending on how many attacks he makes against his target. This ability essentially just enhances his passive against a target for the next short few seconds by allowing him to spawn a Skeletal Warrior once every two attacks instead of four. He just has to be careful not to overdrain his own health, especially in the early game. Gulthis' ultimate is a very powerful tool that he can use when roaming or perhaps just when he wants to duel someone. This ability not only enhances his army of Skeletal Warriors by making sure they aren't hampered by crowd control, but also grants both them and Gulthis himself increased movement speed. Gulthis himself also gains some Tenacity and Slow Resistance, but not complete immunity to crowd control. This makes him a monster that's hard to escape once he has set his eyes on you. Overall, Gulthis is a beginner character that is simple to play and provides an entertaining experience to all the skeleton lovers out there. He is an exceptional duelist that, while he is very sticky, has little ways to escape if he overextends, meaning that those playing him have to at the very least known when they need to jump in or not. Otherwise, he's solid and brings a truly menacing kit to the Top Lane or Jungle.

Thanks for reading! This is a miniature concept I wanted to come up with for Halloween! I'll be adding a couple more sections in a bit. Any constructive feedback is appreciated, of course!

I would like to start off by saying, I do enjoy the concept. What you have here is a lane dominant champion who beyond excels in 1v1s from his lore and the kit reflects that. His character design is great, and I enjoy the detail you have put into him. I believe however you have created an unbalanced champion for League. I think the problem stems from his direct 1v1 damage. Not being able to Crit is not that big of an issue for champions who don't build much crit (IE most champion in league apart from Marksmen.) Let me lay some things out very quickly First off, his Q. If you farm a minion with it, and you have say, 20% cooldown, you can then instantly Auto, and then Re-Q for a second auto, spawning two skeletons at once. Additionally, both autos will Penetrate through a lot of armor, and essentially will half health any "Not tank". His W is far and away the most difficult part of his kit. His W gives him free Lifesteal, which is already a slippery slope for an already high damage champion. Also, giving his attacks more range and a dash (which I am not sure if it is a free dash, or if you auto them you dash, you may need to clarify that a bit more) means he is difficult to disengage. Beyond that, on a champion which can already spawn 2 Skeletons with proper setup, you give another 3, which means his Q, which is an auto cancel, can then be cast into a gap closing W which gives 3 more Skeletons. You could potentially spawn 5 skeletons in only the time it takes 3-5 auto attacks to hit (depending on whether you utilize Q and/or a Hydra cancel). His E gives a slow, and grounds the target, which seems like overkill for a champion who already has incredible gapclosing abilities. The bonus damage seems high, compared to say Camilles Q, which does a similar thing. So beyond this, his Ultimate is both ridiculous in damage, and detrimental to a champion who has high chasing power, who now has to stay stagnant for 2.5 seconds, which essentially makes it a zoning ult that spawns skeletons.

Consider a few things as well A- There is no limit on Skeletons, so if you focus hitting a tank, then you can spawn tons of Skeletons, who in turn, spawn lesser skeletons, which then kill the tank, while yourself assassinating the backline of the enemy team, which is easily accomplished with high damage and high mobility. B- Your ult spawns many skeletons, but what do they do if no one is damaged? Or if more than one person is damaged? Do they simply attack the nearest target, or just stand there? C- There isn't "Hard CC", but the kit has too much soft CC and mobility for a champion who is supposed to Snowball. D- Despite being a hard scaling champion, for an "Undefeated skirmisher" he seems to not have an impressive early game, especially against AOE champions, like a Cho'gath, Jarvan, ect.

Just some thoughts for if you would like to improve. I would actually very much like to see more of his kit and story be based around his sword, as that appears to be the defining detail about Gulthis.
